Employees are friendly but not professional. The equipment is in average at best and most it is in fair condition. All of their recumbent exercise bikes are in poor condition and need to be replaced.Before I joined I was told they rarely had problems in the red light, green light circuirt room with people not switching machines when the light turned red. That turned out to be untrue. Some members of the staff are afraid to enforce the circuit room rules.I spoke to the manager and she assured me that an employee was now checking the circuit room every 20 minutes that isn't true either.If you are looking for a cheap gym to join and aren't interested in red light green light circuit training then Planet Fitness may be right for you. Just remember you get what you pay for. As for me, I am very disappointed because I specifically joined because they have a red light, green light circuit room and was told they rarely had problems.

The staff is excellent and I've always had an amazing experience . The company and amenities are excellent. The only problem is the maintenance (which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5). The equipment is very worn down and old and new equipment is needed extremely bad. There was a big storm and the ceiling was leaking and there are some puddles on the floor (there are signs to caution members but the ceiling needs repair). The tanning beds are very dusty, dirty (not the actual outside of the bed that you law on but on the inside where the bulbs are), and the fans don't work and the settings won't change either. The women's bathroom is always messy. More recumbent bikes need to be added and replaced (there's always people waiting to use one during the day) But other than that this place is excellent and I'm glad I'm a member!

This is my home gym so I don't have anything to say about it other than I love it and I love the staff.

Nice, clean environment with friendly yet professional employees. I visit often and enjoy every visit. I'm very optimistic to others views. But mine was, is and hopefully will continue to be Awesome.

I went to the location assigned to cancel my contract in Sept 2015 and they billed be the cancellation fee, and kept billing me every time I call the 1-800 # I leave message and no call back. I am unable to go back to the location. and now I finally speak to a person and they tell me oh well they don't have record of me closing my account the paper work is not there and since the person I talked to was not there in Sept. she can help me I will have to send a cancel letter through certified mail, and pay the cancellation fee even though they have been taking monies from my acct since Sept 2015 until Jan 2016. Ridiculous ***DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANKING INFORMATION THEY WILL CONTINUE TO BILL YOU EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T WANT TO BE A MEMBER***

My first visit, came with a member, nice facility. Machines worked well. Women's restroom was pretty clean. Will consider when I settle down in one spot.

I travel all over the U.S.(I'm a truck driver and in the military, and everytime I have the time I stop at the closest planet fitness. I workout and it amazes me how nice the facilities are. There is always machines available to what I want to workout, and I feel so comfortable while I do it. The reason I put 4 stars is because it would be nice if they have towels, :). Not that everyone needs them, but I know travelers like me sometimes require them. If there was a way to rate 4.9 stars I would do it. Oh and I recomend my fellow truckers all the time to join, since it's a great way to stay in shape while at this profession. Finally, I want to congratulate to the staff of PF, because they are always attentive and with a smile. ...keep it up PF!

Absolutely LOVE everything about this place except their awful excuse for music. I will be deaf by the end of the year having to play my music at 100 to cover their mess when 33 is loud. And this is at 1 am! They actually turned their music DOWN when it was playing the one and only good song and turned it back up again afterwards. Having a gym that is open 24/7 is fantastic when you work odd shifts and even at 1 am it is completely safe with never less than 7 cars and usually 15 but this was a Saturday.

It appears that most of the bad reviews on here at people who don't know what a "contract" is. This is a great facility and I used this gym 3 to 4 times a week. It is clean and the staff is great. For all of you, go find another gym that is $10 a month. A one year commitment is required. You will pay for one year what most gyms will charge you in 3 to 4 months is not more. Just because you can't get your way by them letting you out of your contract doesn't mean you have to leave a bad review.Keep up the good work Planet Fitness Waco!

This place is a joke. The people here don't know what the hell they are doing. They can't handle the volume of people they have and are still taking in more. I joined this place because when I traveled to Rockford IL they did not have my gym LA Fitness so I also joined this one. Back in IL I did not run into any problems. Here in Waco, people are constantly standing around because of the staff's lack of knowledge and training. When a problem arises no one knows what the hell they are doing. I've never had so many problems at one place. During one of those problems I asked for someone to contact and they left me standing around again for like 10mins cause no one seemed to know where to get the info. Then they gave me Kandie Loos info who is supposed to be the one in charge of the surrounding areas for this place. These people have an attitude that needs to be adjusted because this idiot also seems to lack the knowledge and training to be in charge of anything. After emailing several times, her last email said "....you're not even a member of one of our franchises...". Maybe they don't pay these people much and that is why they lack certain qualities you need for a successful company. They are opening up everywhere yet they don't call themselves a gym. They condone unhealthy eating, giving away pizza each Monday. They have a lurk alarm that sounds if you push yourself; that may explain why you don't see almost anyone with a nice physical appearance. It is so pathetic.I think no one should join this place; but if you do get a label that says IDIOT and paste it on your forehead.
