Started with PF in Des Moines about 14 years ago, at the Urbandale branch. Switched to West Des Moines (just down from my house) so I could walk to it. Moved to Waco in December 2021, and joined the Waco PF last summer. Clean and friendly.

Showers have needed plumber attention for years. Massage chair padding broke down long ago. They sound like an old car trying to run.Zero care from franchise owner.Staff were good, though.

An acquaintance that I met yesterday told me that Planet Fitness will give you one week free to explore their facility. So I went and didn't even bother with asking about that BECAUSE they have a special going on that ends today. However I will not have any funds until tomorrow. So I was so interested that the associate that I was talking to: Theresa I believe is her name spoke with her manager I believe: Chris and they are going to let me have the special tomorrow. With that being said; I am getting the BLACK CARD MEMBERSHIP for $24.99 I can hardly wait until I get started getting back into shape again.

The staff are friendly and helpful, equipment kept up to date and well maintained. Please keep the volume of the music lower - not everyone has the same taste in music and many who exercise are using earbuds.

Planet Fitness has a malicious practice of forcing you to come in person to cancel your membership, for the sole purpose of trying to squeeze a few accidental months of cash out of you. Until this policy changes, one star.

Love this place lots of equipment. It's never too busy. Love the massage beds. Great for after a workout.
