I am very disappointed with this gym. Since I moved from West Hartford this gym personal are not professional. They need basic training. Their ego is destroyed the gym and pushing customers away

I’m so tired of going back and forth with this place, I am currently on maternity leave and have medical issues so my account was supposed to be frozen THREE TIMES and it still hasn’t, I kept being charged (on the wrong card) the manager said again a week ago that my account will be frozen plus will have the money that I got charged refunded, I still see no refund and now they owe me more since I was charged once again after they told me my account was frozen. The guy on the phone said “I do see the notes but I can’t help you my manager will give you a call”. If there are notes why is my account still not frozen? If I do not see my money I will take this up higher.

Love all locations. Staff is generally helpful. Equipment is new and clean. Tanning beds are better than most tanning salons

If anyone is sick of waiting in line for the mosh pit that is the West Hartford Edge and wants to workout without the crowd in peace then this gym is for you. Even on a Saturday I don’t have to wait for anything.

My trainer Sammi is the best! She’s created a lot of flexibility, mobility, & stabilization for me as well as keeping me young! Her style of coaching is very positive towards mental health. Overall no one can replace her!

I came to the edge on a referral and fought the idea as I’m used to much different training however I quickly fell inlove with the edge due to a few of the personal trainers they have there. JJ, Lia, and Eric are absolutely amazing and have the knowledge, caring attitude and go the extra mile to help their clients. I’ve been truly grateful to have the 3 of them as trainers and currently still have 8-9 hours a week of training time with them. Tom the GM is probably one of the best managers I’ve ever seen hands down. As a business owner myself, I believe that edge made a perfect decision to bring Tom to Bristol and you feel that positive atmosphere just by walking into the location. While no business can ever be perfect and has their flaws in other management positions, I would say that the 4 employees I’ve mentioned above are an absolute reason to try the Edge out as I would be shocked that you could find a better place to work out with an atmosphere built respect, positivity, and results. If you book a session with either JJ, Eric, or Lia, you will get the results you came looking for and Tom is always around which is a great feeling as a member to know that someone who truly cares is running that location.

Was nice during the pandemic when it wasn’t crowded but now everyone seems to have joined or returned and it’s packed - plus some people bring their children (teens like 13-16 yrs old) taking up workout machines can’t believe this is allowed seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen (I am sure they aren’t paying for the kids either). This place is now a complete and utter zoo. After my contract ends I will look for another gym with stricter policies.

Back in October I joined up here, I went to one training session, hated it, felt disgusted, never went back. I stopped in a couple months later, after working up the fortitude to step in the gym again, and was told I could send an email to corporate and they would cancel no problem.. what a lie that was... i sent an email and they refused to cancel the membership. Months later, I'm forced to cancel cards, and request charge backs, and I'm told I need a signed doctor's note to cancel. But apparently they are okay with their members being harassed after I told them what's been happening. My finace and I tried canceling because of how uncomfortable the staff made us feel. . The initial "free training session" you get fom the coaches is a sales pitch, plane and simple. Even after you tell then you can't afford it, they continue to harass you. We received text messages trying to get us to buy training sessions, hell, we even got one on Christmas.Do not ever EVER get a membership here. Canceling is a nightmare. The edge has some pretty shady business practices where they change the name of the gym when charging you.

Gym is always clean. Never had an issue with the gym itself. I wish they made rules about people leaving their things at several machines to reserve them for themselves but it's more of a people issue and not the gym. Busy during peak times but It doesn't bother me that many people are working out. It is a public gym after all.

The best gym I've ever joined! Here there's a community of people that are dedicated to personal fitness and health. I love taking the edge strong classes and using the turf area for my own workouts. They really live up to their message, to make strength your edge ☺️
