6.26.16 update: The gym is the cleanest I have ever seen it 😊😊. Even on a Sunday morning the restrooms are mopped! Cardio machines are up and running! This is my favorite location since it is almost always vacant compared to SoJo and Herriman. So worth the drive to come here and get any machine I want whenever I want! So excited the KidCare is re-opening soon!!Pre covid: The Kidcare at Taylorsville is great. My husband and I use it frequently. Our daughter has been very nervous to go to the kidcare on her own since her older siblings are back in school, but Frances and Kaylene help her feel comfortable. I love having our daughter show me, and tell me, all about her craft project and the exercises she does there. I really wish there were better early morning classes. I have to drive out to West Valley for TEAM and they need to really update the free weight area.

Been through 2 personal trainer journeys through Vasa and I'll never go anywhere else! Cameo was amazing and helped me lose 20 lbs of fat mass, a few inches all around, drop 6 levels of visceral fat, and about 15 lbs! Super friendly and motivating team. LOVE Vasa!

Pretty Kool Atmosphere, nobody gives this beast a problem, I know grunting or laughing is sac religious in some folks eyes, but no one cares about your opinions. We're there too push our bodies too there max potential. I may fart grunt dance laugh and cry all at the same time while doing so. It's a damn fine gime.

Dear VASA Fitness Taylorsville:Why, rather than calling us saying you no longer want the LGBTQ magazine delivered at your location, you just throw them away after they are delivered. It costs us money to print them and get them delivered to your location. Also, I hear half of your cardio machines are broken and your parking lot has mile-deep potholes. Not that I'm getting petty.Update: AND NOW you say "Happy Pride Month", hours after you threw away the magazines with the PRIDE GUIDE in them!

Ruined my day i swear. I have the $20 membership with the guest bundle and they didn't let in my boyfriend because she didn't bring his ID. To a gym all we bring are essentials like water and stuff. Almost 30 minutes trying to talk to the front desk to let us in because we drove all this way to work out and any other vasa we've been to has let us in. Tears in my eyes because of the frustration yet i kept my cool never raised my voice i was just really trying to get in the gym because i pay for the membership.

Currently looking for a new gym since VASA has become a scummy "add-on" trap.I initially got the $20/month membership after explicitly asking and making sure that it included guest privileges. I was informed today that the "guest add-on" is $15/month--almost the price of a membership.I'm not sure when this changed, but I've taken guests dozens and dozens of times. Really scummy move on VASA's part.Don't give your money to companies like this that try to nickel-and-dime you.

Not sure if this gym has had a recent management change, but I swear its gone down hill!A lot of the cardio and weight machines now a days seem to always be out of order. Makes it frustrating when there is already a limited amount since this seems to be a smaller location than most. Who ever is running this specific location really needs to get on corporates butt about the current condition of the gym. Should of repaired all the broken gym equipment instead of worrying about installing new flooring in the weight room. EOS doesn't seem like a bad idea the more I keep going here, sadly this is the closed location to me other wise I wouldn't care.

I like the Taylorsville Vasa. I was a little hesitant to join because of a bad experience at the Brickyard location. I'd been told that if I signed up for personal training, I would learn all about macros and micros, etc. They roped me in and then told me they couldn't teach about nutrition. Their trainers at the time were either on the phone a lot or flaking on appointments.Anyhow, I have been pleasantly surprised with my experience so far. For $10 a month I get to go to the gym every morning. The front desk people greet me and nobody tries to sell me on packages that I don't want. The equipment works, and they have most everything you need. I just joined though and have only gone a few times, so, it may be that the things I'm looking for are in another spot. So far, so good!

Disappointing and has been since I resigned up in January. More than half of the cardio equipment is broken. I have been asking multiple reps when the expected fix date will be, been told by a few the parts are there. They’re just waiting for their guy (who went on vacation months ago?) to get back. Their priority needs to be getting the treadmills and especially the stair climbers fixed. They are the most recommended by professionals and the most popular right now for cardio. I’ve even been researching the other machines are worthless compared to treadmills and stairclimbers.I did not see the need to have the floors replaced before those machines. I understand the climate were living in and it’s hard to get people to work… but fix the equipment. Please. Every member is frustrated. We all look at each other rolling our eyes when someone attempts you use another broken machine and we have to tell them, sorry there isn’t a sign on this one but doesn’t work. Please, please, please take some time and energy out of your day to make that a priority. Get your equipment fixed. We are begging you!!!!!!We are not able to respond to reply’s. I’ve already spoken to multiple reps at this location. I feel the best course of action is to send out an email to those who have Taylorsville as their home gym and explaining why there has been a delay on fixing the equipment and what your plan is to get the issue at hand solved. We are all paying customers requesting that we get full access to what we are paying for.Or explain it under the multiple customers reviews complaining of the broken equipment that has had no resolution for 3-4 months, some say years. It’s unacceptable.

This location is always dirty, unorganized, and staff is always on their phones. Almost all of the cardio machines are broken (the ones with signs on it in the pictures). Most of the other machines are very outdated or broken. There is not enough equipment for everyone, especially at peak hours. The only good and new equipment is only for personal training sessions or the “red room”. I only come to VASA bc I want to use up my annual fee/contract. Do not recommend.
