Vasa doesn’t hesitate to take their “maintenance” fee out from your bank account but they don’t use the money to fix or replace their equipment. More than half of their cardio equipment doesn’t work. Seats on the equipment have tears or are worn out.

terrible location, it is the vasa with almost all the broken cardio machines, there is always the sign that it is in maintenance almost a year ago, when one arrives there are only 3 cardio machines and they are always busy, I do not recommend this place, I hope to be able to get out of my membership soon.

THIS LOCATION:Transferred from another location. First day, I use the bathrooms, and two of the toilets are backed up, and there’s used paper towels across the floor to clean up something leaking. This location don’t have as extensive a gamut of machines for their circuit as other, less expensive places, or even as many as other VASA locations.VASA:My wife and I initially joined for a special discount where we paid one price and got the benefits of next level up. Don’t know why, but that monthly price went from $Manageable-and-Reasonable to $No-Discount. Seems their “price lock” is more like a revolving door, and I’m not happy with the dishonesty. Not happy with the management experience as a whole, though their pool was nice to splash around in before they shut it down for COVID. (Understandable, though we still paid full price for that bad boy for the duration of the quarantine before cancelling.)

My experience has been positive. It frustrated me when they removed the Butterfly machine. No other machine or free weight movement will strain your Pectoralis and protect your Rotator Cuff perfectly. Great rehab machine for us baseball pitchers with wore out shoulder. Clean and diversified machines. Needs better balanced curl bar system. Only good curl bar is the Olympic bar I repaired myself. Good gym overall. I like it.

Staff in very nice. Facility is nice and there is always someone cleaning the gym floor when I go. But 5 stars go the Lead trainer Dominick. He is amazing and always keeps you on your toes for training 😉 …

I have been attending to this location for the past 2 years. It is bad but I got used to it, I recently realized I need to bring my own barbel locks, my own bands, and my own cable straps as they "go missing" they don't have them, or due to the pandemic they are not allowed to lend stuff" good luck finding mats or even kettle bells that match. half of the equipment is defective. I want to be fair with my review I do see they do some improvements every so often and sometimes we talk to the management to let them know some of the things are missing the management is usually pretty friendly and they are starting to clean a lot more after the pandemic. as I said I have been there for so long I have became less and less picky about stuff. Everything was ok for the most part, but why am I paying a membership and annual fees when I am not even able to use the restroom at this gym I mean It is nasty! their toilets are usually clogged, and smell really bad. I don't want to describe the visuals but go figured. Vasa is the new walmart, people doing aerobics inside the sauna, the hot tub is broken, I mean I can go on and on, the worst part and the reason I will not longer want to come to this gym is that I found a saliva like substance floating around while swimming in their pool. for God's sake I hope it was saliva! this is totally disgusting. I know that people are responsible as well but I think rules need to me implemented. management need to keep an eye to all of these issues. I also tried to contact Vasa over the phone to inform them my year was up and I did not want to renew for another year, to what they said I needed to pay a monthly and a yearly fee, because that was their cancellation policy and I needed to let them know 30 days before which I find totally ridiculous, so they are entitled to charge whatever is due for the next 30 days?! the Lady at the phone was at least respectful and calm but I am so done with this stupid policies, at this point I think I will give them their 70 dollars so hopefully they can afford to buy a new toilet seat and some clorox for their bathrooms.

This is one of the better gyms in the area. The gym is always clean and the cardio cinema is awesome! I bring my daughter into the kidcare, and Frances is always friendly and welcoming. My daughter loves doing crafts and “chicken fat” exercises. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have tried several different Vasas, the one in Taylorsville may not be the newest or the biggest, but the people here are the best. Since reopening, they have always had several employees patrolling specific areas, watching for somebody to leave the machine, then immediately clean it. One recommendation, having employees out on the floor is the perfect opportunity to catch these jerks who refuse to wipe down the machines, or unload them when they are done. You really should suspend their membership for being so irresponsible

I've enjoyed working out at this Vasa location. It's clean and we'll maintained. I like using the new hydromassage cares after a good workout. The kidcare is so great and is the thing I love most about this location. Frances is the best she made me feel comfortable from day one leaving my baby in kidcare is always friendly, helpful and happy!

Out of all the VASA club's I've been to, this one is by far my favorite! Everyone is super friendly. My kids love the Kidcare. Francis is amazingly sweet and provides a great/ safe environment for my kids... which makes me feel good when I come to workout. ♡♡♡
