I love this gym but it’s getting really annoying when I pull up at opening time and taking a nap for an hour and the doors still aren’t open. It’s the only time I have for the weekend before kids games. Very disappointing.

I like the layout of this place. It's just the people who go to this location, similar to the West Valley Location, make this establishment filthy. The people only care about themselves and leave equipment scattered everywhere. The members treat equipment and other people like they don't matter. The staff are great with great service, but members make up the club and this club isn't one you look forward to working out in everyday.

Love the Taylorsville location. I can't think of one thing that they could add to make the experience better. They have every machine for every part of the body, a basketball court, pool, etc. The guys at the juice bar are wonderful and very knowledgeable. I can always count on them to recommend the best pre workout or protein shake based on what I'm looking for. They also have Kid Care that will watch your kids for up to 90 minutes. No excuses. I always leave feeling like I've gotten the best workout available to me. Great staff, great area for a reasonable price.

I absolutely love using their gym! It has so much variety and there is a lot of space to move around! Every other gym I've been to was crammed and didn't have much equipment to use! I'm so glad that made the decision to get a membership with them!!

You get what you pay for.Vasa is a great gym, but you have to be okay with weights not always being racked, busy hours, and the occasional grunt or two from buff guys.It also varies with the location you choose to attend. Not all are alike. However, I am able to save money while getting fit.Door staff are very nice, and it is inspiring to see so many people wanting to be healthy.I would recommend this gym to people like me.

Awesome environment. Nice cardio machines. Clean. And super friendly employees! I would recommend them to get all black (not metal) handles for the cable machines! But overall awesome place go get in the zone and workout! I love how they don't make you keep a year for a contract!

The staff is extremely courteous. The times I attend, they have always been extremely friendly. I haven't had the opportunity to take advantage of everything as of yet. For the Price location I had to give it five stars. There are only a few things I would recommend. The dumbbells area does not have a cleaning station. It would be nice to have a spray bottle, or wet wipes to wipe down the benches.

I decided to switch gyms because my new employment has a work out facility. I was on a month-to-month contract with Golds gym that I was told would stay the same when the switch to VASA happened. I did a month-to-month contract to avoid the hidden fees that Golds (and now VASA) are notorious for. I was charged for the last month of my membership, which I am happy to pay, but got charged a "rate guarantee fee" out of no where. This was not communicated to me that there was a fee of any kind when I was cancelling, or any of the 2015 calendar year. The VASA staff could not give me a straight answer when I tried to dispute it. Why was I just now being charged $40 for a rate guarantee? I was cancelling my $20 a month membership and you choose to ding me with an extra 2 months worth membership for a guarantee that I'm not even going to need/use?! Not good business practice. Not only will I never return to your facilities but would never recommend you to someone asking about work out facilities.I worked out at the Gold's gym for all of 2014 and really enjoyed my path to physical fitness. Gold's was a run down hole in the wall but you knew to expect that and went for the competitive price and equipment selection. With VASA taking over the expectation was raised. Updates to fitness clubs were promised but carried out at a remarkably slow pace, the staff turned into self-entitled jerks, and leaving is still the same surprise of no explanation on why you're all of a sudden paying fees. VASA is Gold's with higher promises and lower delivery.

My experience at this gym was pretty great; however kid care facility I would have to rate "pretty close to being terrible"... Everything in the gym was set up pretty nice with all the new equipment, turf, ETC. The staff was extremely friendly. I would love to return to this location, but I definitely won't be bringing my toddler back. I will go to the west Jordan kid care location for that.

If you have ANY other choice, take it! I got black hands after using the dumbbells. I had clothes stolen from the locker room, yes it was locked. The bathrooms are usually clogged and overflowing. The treadmills are poorly maintained, along with most of the other equipment. The pool, steam room, and showers are enough to get the board of health interested. Once you decide you can’t take it anymore and cancel your membership you will get a SCREW YOU FEE. You will be billed an additional month after you decide to cancel. This is a corporate policy. In every way, this is the worst gym that I have ever used!
