When I first saw the reviews I was overjoyed to join a place I can workout and take on a new journey. I went there and nothing was on and half of the machines wasn’t working. I even asked about a specific equipment and was told that it was …

Great gym, great staff, great atmosphere!! My only complaint is that I wish there was a system to keep people from just sitting on machines and not working out; or people that would rather lean on a station and chat for 15 minutes rather then step to the side and let someone else actually use it.

I love this place. Friendly service and great equipment. Very clean and lit music choice. Highly recommend if you’d prefer a less crowded environment and to acquire and build new rapports. Also, recommend if you don’t want to pay an excessive amount of money to workout. Warming atmosphere. :)

I’ve been training at the WPB location for a little more than a year now, and I have to say, Rock Fitness is the ideal place and “happy medium” for anyone looking to seek health and wellness. What originally brought me to this gym was my personal niche when it comes to gyms. “Non-corporate feel”, “lowkey” and “community based”. I tend to feel people deal with a lot of hassle, in my opinion, when it comes to places like La And PF, corporate monopolies that are just in it for your money...I will break my review down into pros and cons. Of course, let’s think positive, first.Community and staff: I know a lot of my morning crowd, along with basically the entire staff. Every morning I’m checked in before I even get to the door, as I’m greeted by Rizzo, an associate. From GM Wendy, to the staff associates Cam, Devon, Lorenzo, Cody etc , to trainers “The Animal” , Robby, Danny etc , rock really does make you feel at home, and that’s IMPERATIVE for anyone that wants to stay motivated. I’m excited to see the team every morning! This gym has the perfect mix of intimated people who are new to fitness, all the way to “juice heads”. Overall, I think Rock is a Very easy place to feel cozy.Cleanliness: Rock is very clean and everything is in order. The gym itself manifests red as its color, and I find it very appealing to the mind of a fitness nut.Rates and membership packages: I pay $37 bucks a month for my membership with unlimited free guests. That is SOLID! Just wake up and get your behind to work!Marketing: Rock has a very unique social media platform on IG and once again, it’s the family and community feel that differentiates it from local gymsLocation: right off 95; convenient for everyone! And, of course, the cons:Equipment: Rock could use a couple more squat racks, various smith machines, more spare Rez bands, extended turf area etc and more foam rollers!!! Those are my favorite ...Paper towel dispensers often don’t workWeekend hours: Opens at 8 am ... I know a lot of people, myself included, that like to get up and get after it on Saturday and Sunday am. (I think the gym should open at 5 am 7days/week)Overall, I would recommend Rock to anyone I know. Hope this helps in your endeavor to a healthy and happy lifestyle- NE

I love Rock Fitness. My advisor Wendy did an amazing job to explain EVERYTHING for me. There are plenty of machines to get the job done. I attended my 1st spin class... tough... but it was exactly what I needed. Ill be back next Wednesday. So far I love it, I'm regretting I didn't join sooner.

I had a really wonderful experience with Rock Fitness Center. Everything from the services offered to the friendly staff were top notch. I really can't think of a single thing I would change about the place. If I hadn't moved down south, I would've continued my fitness journey with their facility. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

My review is in regards to the unprofessional, incompetent and inattentive management of this particular location. As a dual certified trainer I had the displeasure of dealing with this gym. Coming from NY I am more used to efficiency, effective communication and consistency, especially when dealing with business matters. I received none of that when dealing with this gym. All I achieved was a complete waste of my time and gas since the ineffectual and incapable person (Wendy) who emailed me never informed me of the proper location to meet. In fact, during the application via Indeed I was initially provided with virtual option to interview. Once that date and time arrived, no one was there for the interview. No one bothered to cancel or inform me otherwise. I am not surprised then when the live interview was scheduled after this blunder, that the location was never clarified. As a result showing up to the advertised position in Palm Beach was incorrect since Singer Island was the correct location according to the inept manager. Was I informed of this prior to arrival? Absolutely not. How does one even become a manager of of a gym let alone occupy a position of authority with such abysmal and unqualified skills in communication. Pathetic.

I was going to Rock Fitness 5 days per week from July 2020 until March 2021- I am no longer a member. If you want to know why, keep reading! If you prefer barbell workouts and can only attend weekdays around 5pm because of your work schedule, I would not recommend Rock Fitness due to the following:During multiple workouts, there were not enough plates for all of the members to use simultaneously. It got to the point where members started hoarding plates, and I couldn't get two 45 lbs plates for myself. This happened regularly about once or twice a week. There is only one squat rack! There were multiple times where I planned to squat and couldn't because the rack was being used the whole time. Sometimes there were 2-3 people sharing the squat rack in which they took over an hour to use. On a busy day, there wasn't enough other equipment to use for the heavy lifting leg workout I’m looking for.I brought this to management’s attention several times over the past 6+ months before I left, and I was told a few different reasonings:1. They wanted to order one but the equipment was on back order / they could order one at a local shop but it wouldn’t be red (~ September)2. When I followed up in December, I was told that it was the gym’s slow season and that it wasn’t a good time to get a new rack.3. There was no room for for another rack (December/January)These reasonings were communicated to me via the GM, Wendy. I requested to speak with the owner multiple times - no meeting was ever set up nor did the owner address the issue himself. How do you only have one rack?Again, I was only able to attend weekdays after 5pm - otherwise, my weekend workouts here were ok. I was able to utilize all the equipment I needed with some wait times.**I rarely had an issue with getting a bench - so if you're an all upper body workout type of person, you may not have an issue with this gym.Pros: Princess the spin instructor is AMAZING so go see her Monday and Wednesday nights if you want a good sweat!!! And Wendy! He is the GM and great with the members. He doesn’t have much to work with, but he is personable and does his best to make the members happy! The Rock Fitness offers good pricing but you legit get what you pay for. It’s not worth it if you actually care about working out- you might as well pay extra for a membership to avoid the issues I’ve explained above.I posted this initial review ~9pm on Monday 2/16 (and have edited it since). The owner, Jason, approached me ~5:30pm on Tuesday 2/17.He unprofessionally interrupted me mid-workout to address my review- I was in the middle of racking weights onto the machine. Jason proceeded to break down my review, and I was taken aback when he told me that I was just one member out of thousands. He said I was more than welcome to be happy at another gym - I am now a very very happy member at another gym! Bottom line is - if you raise a complaint/concern and it appears your complaint isn't being addressed, post a Google review about it because it will definitely catch Jason's attention.Hope this helps with helping you find a local gym!
