Crunch Fitness - Westland

I’ve been going to Crunch since it’s opened and it’s the best gym I’ve ever been to! The gym is extremely clean and the front desk staff is always helpful. Kara is so friendly and up beat in the mornings which makes it easy to wake up and get the day started! I work out every morning at 5am and the gym is always opened on time allowing me to get my workout in and get to work on time without skipping a beat. Love Crunch Fitness Westland!!!

Great gym. I have going for almost a year now. It is clean with a large variety of equipment to keep the workouts interesting. I enjoy the classes and go several times a week. Thanks Jason and Marisa for being great trainers and helping me to reach my goals.

I LOVE this gym. Great workers, great equipment and great people that attend. I just wish machines would get fixed a little faster and sometimes it's hard to find a cleaning station thing that works 😅 …

Not recommended to any AFRICAN AMERICAN that works out with a gym bag.... I've been coming to crunch for about 8 months now with a bag, A little over a month ago the NEW GM decides to tell me I can no longer bring my bag onto the gym floor but fails to tell the rest of the gym members.... so I kept my bag in the locker room, until i constantly had to remind the GM to do his job by snitching on people about having a bag on the floor because I felt singled out. Yesterday I was done snitching, I saw multiple members with their bags on the floor And literally watched the GM walk right over someone's bag while showing a new member the gym so I brought mine out of the locker room.... Today I walk into the gym the GM tells me my MEMBERSHIPS BEEN REVOKED! I go to the gym for a release not to bring more stress into my life.... just trying to workout in peace that's it!! I'll continue to post pictures of people with their bag on the gym floor because I have friends that go here to show chrunch fitness discriminates against certain looking people!! Unacceptable!!!

Great place to work out. Good equipment, clean, nice staff. Great locker room. I was very disappointed at how misleading the flyer was that brought me in. It lead me to believe I could pay $9.95 per month and didn't have to have a contract. Actually you can pay monthly without a contract but it is $15 per month with a $50 fee due after 60 days. A bit different..... almost didn't give the place a chance on principle alone. But it is close to my house....

Best gym I've ever been a member of, I've tried 5. Almost never have to alter my routine due to high volume of patrons. Everyone is respectful of each other. Friendly staff. Value can't be beat.

I love this gym! All the staff at crunch in Westland are great, especially Brenden Chan. He's always trying to help every customer and make them feel very welcomed. (Give him a raise) but also the energy is always at 100 and it makes me workout better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

WOW! Simply stated...WOW! Great facility and great equipment, plus friendly and knowledgeable staff. (Who knew that Fish Oil - or eating more cold water fish could help with my knee troubles? Michael did, and now I do too)At some point, a treadmill is a treadmill, so the staff and the class offerings is what brought me to WOW! As I mentioned, I have knee problems and have been struggling to find some type of aerobic activity that I could to do, other than an elliptical or stationary bike.I have tried other classes, but was always a bit self-conscious when I had to (in full view of everyone) modify my exercise. Well, the group room at Crunch is HUGE, so there was plenty of room for me to "hide in the back". That didn't last too long, as I quickly noticed that there were a lot of people, of all shapes and sizes, modifying their exercises as well. so now I don't even give a thought to where I plunk myself down.Last, they have the absolute best sound systems I have ever seen in a fitness center. I know that doesn't really have anything to do with the functionality of a gym, but it sure makes it more fun!Diversity, Knowledge, Encouragement, and Entertaining. Again, I can sum the whole Crunch experience in one word... WOW!

Crunch is by far the best gym in the area. It’s not even close. It blows the “judgement free zone” away. The equipment, the staff, the whole attitude of Crunch is all deserving of a 5 star rating. And that’s not even mentioning what you get for the price. For only $9.95 a month you get to use a ton of free weights, dumbbells and training equipment. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. All in all, Crunch is awesome. Hope they open up more soon. And no I do not work there. I am just totally impressed.

Awesome place to work out! I can grunt, drop weights and the equipment is nice and new. Just wish they were open 24/7. I had to resign up for planet fitness because of the hours. Don’t get me wrong it’s a dope gym I just have a hard time getting up early in the morning before work to go. Definitely recommend!!!
