Insanely unprofessional, no one there has any communication with anyone else; no one knows the rules so anytime you call up to ask a question and get a different person, you get a completely different answer. I moved away from the area and was told that after my first year with the gym was up, I wouldn't have to do anything to cancel, it would cancel on its own. The membership renewed itself, and the manager here told me that in order to cancel the NEW MEMBERSHIP that automatically started for me, I would have to pay off the $25 fee that had been put on my account because he could do nothing about it.

Short review:Crunch Fitness is an excellent gym for people of all fitness levels. The facilities are clean, well maintained, and the machines are plentiful. The HIIT area has several equipment pieces that allow for customizable workouts, and there are many free weights available. As a bonus, parking is never an issue!Long Review: (apologies for shilling, but I have a lot to say).It is not an understatement to say that this gym helped change my life. I started going to Crunch Fitness in July when I was the most out of shape, heavy, and just generally fattest I've ever been. I stepped foot into the gym and was in awe of the selection of machines and equipment available. Feeling lost, I asked the staff for assistance, and they were extremely helpful in showing me how the equipment worked. That is something I've observed since then; the workers at this location are all excellent, friendly, and take the motto, "no judgments," seriously. As the supervisor told me later, "this location has people of all shapes and sizes," and I've personally seen that they are all treated in a very friendly manor. This is a sentiment shared by the General Manager who has told me a few times that it's people trying to better themselves that gets him out of bed in the morning. If you already go to a gym, it may be worth visiting the location and asking the front desk staff for a quick tour of the facility. It doesn't take long and doesn't cost anything, so there's nothing to lose.If you are entirely new to gyms and just doing preliminary research, I think this is an excellent location at which to start. I went from never going to the gym to going 4 or 5 times a week, and I've never felt better! In addition to the regular gym staff being able to help you, all memberships come with a kick-off event where you can meet with one of the personal trainers and have a mini-session while discussing your fitness goals. If you can, please take advantage of this session! Jay and his trainers helped me shed 25 pounds in 3 months and brought me back down to pre-Covid weight (but with more muscle than I've ever had). Seriously, take advantage of this session. Yes, it seems to be a way for them to sell you on personal training sessions, but honestly, it's worth it.Overall, every visit leaves me impressed with the facilities, the staff, and increased motivation to keep coming back.

I have been apart of crunch since 2017 before the pandemic and they have gone above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and gets a good workout in at the same time. They have plenty of personal trainers on staff to accommodate any time of the time. Highly recommend checking out if you are in the area!

One of the best gyms I ever been to. Great cleaned place. I am no longer a member but the cancelation process was smooth and fast. 10/10 would recommend!

This gym is a definition of sabotages you. I spoke to someone about cancelling my membership back in December and they said we can freeze your account and by the time June comes that’s when my one year is up. They can just cancel it. Well turns out today I got a call from them saying I didn’t pay my monthly fee. And not only that because they froze my account, then have push my one year date out even longer. BS company.

I've been going for some time now. I read alot of the reviews. I also, go very early 5:00am or 530am, and if the morning that is was closed was the day of the massive tree falling on Grafton St. taking all the power out on the entire Perkins Farm area. Yeah it was frustrating, but not the Staff's fault. I also try some of the classes at night. Overall, I find everyone willing to listen and try to resolve complaints. In regards to people not wearing masks. I've seen several staff talking to the members about the masks. So, basically, you get what you put into it, the staff is great, and trying to keep it clean and safe for us.

I used to like this gym. Cancelling my subscription was a hustle. They’re more interested in taking your money. After asking them to put a freeze on my subscription, they activated it without consulting me and charged me $36.45. Asked them to refund my money as I had moved and didn’t ask for the reactivating and they refused. Beware!

Overall the Crunch brand is a good brand. This particular gym in Worcester East is a new location and very clean and physically appealing. However I’ve never liked the wide open lay out. My last Crunch gym in Auburn which they closed had separate rooms to work out in. That’s ideal for me. The only thing I would change if I could would be the hours. I want to get back to 24 hour gym days again. Hopefully this is in their plans once things get back to normal socially speaking. See y’all in the next review! Gym is definitely an improvement from the Auburn location. Equipment is nice with a combination of free weights and machines. Downside is the shortened gym hours on the weekend compared to weekdays and the cleanliness of equipment due to inconsiderate and careless members.
