Disgusting facility. I was visiting in Albany NY and decided to go to their gym and was horrified. The lack of cleanliness is absolutely disgusting especially during COVID. The trashcans look like they haven’t been wiped down in months and the bathroom photos speak for themselves. So disappointed and won’t be coming back.

Amazing value !! Clean ... As an early morning client, have never had to wait for any machine ... staff is most helpful ... masseuse would be the only addition we would wish would be offered (additional cost of course) ... Highly recommend

I've had an enjoyable workout everytime!Someone always greets us, and the staff is approachable.I'm enjoying that the hours are back to normal which makes working out easier!

After mainly going to this location for about a month, I went to Loudonville instead because it offers a much better workout. Elliptical machines here are at least 2 generations older than the rest in the area and are terrible for building cardio. Not to mention that there's a 75% chance they'll shut off after 1-2 minutes. After switching gyms I noticed a huge improvement in not only cardio but leg strength as well while using the much newer machines.

They stole my AirPods case. If you like your stuff stolen go here! I called this planet fitness cause I couldn’t find my AirPods case and had their employee named Henry find them on the floor. I come back a few days and nobody can open their safe. Their manager is finally there and she said there are no AirPods cases in the safe. I confront her tell her I left my information and she tells me they are not there. I call the cops and wait outside and they call me to tell me they cancelled my membership which I am very happy about. I now sit and wait for the cop to show up so I can write a stolen items report. I am just writing this so that anybody who thinks about joining knows about this shady business.

If I could leave fewer stars, I would. I signed up on a Wednesday. I called for an appointment with a trainer. No one called back. I called again and left a number to call after 5 as I work during the day. They called me during work and their trainer's hours are during my work hours or during their peak hours. For someone just trying to get back into a gym for the first time in a long while they are not very nice. Plus they charged me more than one month's fee when I literally never got to work out.

Planet fitness gyms are the most judgemental gyms you can go to ironically. I was working out with a coworker and he corrected me on my form. The manager then gave me a friendly reminded me that they don't allow trainers. After explaining the situation to basically a corporate wall. They reverted back to the no outside trainer allowed statement. They also intentionally make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership.

My favorite place to escape. Latham has ropes and the staff is so nice. Everyone of them. The ladies room is always clean and it's my favorite location. Highly recommended

I go to this facility regularly on my lunch. The neglect in this Location makes it a High Risk for Covid transmission. Location is always over crowded, especially now with covid there's barely room to social distance. Mens room always smells terrible and is never maintained or cleaned. Dumbells ALWAYS missing from the rack, staff does little to find the missing ones and rerack them, or maintain the other gear for that matter. Cable equipment has been missing handles for about a year now, no replacement. Also heavy concerns revolving around sanitization of surfaces etc. The paper towel dispensers are either ALWAYS empty or broken, so people give up on spraying down their work station after they are done. This facility has always been sub par compared with others, but it's incredible how much they're not willing to improve especially during a pandemic.

Joined and went for first time today. Very clean. Staff and customers very respectful. Locker room was clean, and boundaries were respected. Bathroom was clean enough. The gum provides cleaning stations to disinfect equipment before and after use, and most patrons seem to do that. Wide range of equipment, and they stay true to the no judgement, no criticism policy. I like their app for hands free check in. All in all, a good place regardless of your level.Edit: It's been a year since I left the above review, and I'm still a member, and still enjoy working out at this Planet Fitness. However, I've noticed that the staff's attention to details has gone downhill over the last year. Garbage is left to overflow in the men's bathroom. Paper towels are often depleted at cleaning stations. Hand sanitizer is often missing from the dispensers, especially the men's locker room where the sanitizer dispenser is empty about half the time. I understand staffing shortages in the Omicron Era, and I understand that if there is only one staff member of each gender, and their services are needed at the desk, it may take them a while to attend to an issue in a particular bathroom or locker room. As I stated, I still enjoy working out here, but would appreciate just a little more attention to these issues. All that being said, I find the staff to be very friendly, always greeting me and saying goodbye.
