Gym is absolutely packed every time you go. Can’t ever get to a rack, no benches available, no dumbbells available etc. went to cancel my membership because of this and was told it would be $58 because the promotional period i signed up during didn’t have “free cancellation” in the fine print. Lol it’s funny how I’m charged $58 to cancel a membership that is free for others to cancel. Save yourself the headaches and go to a real gym.

Men's locker room smells like pure death. I get that it isn't going to smell like flowers but holy hell. Most of not all of the paper towel dispensers are barely functional. Worst of all they have fox news on their tvs.

Not my favorite planet fitness. Equipment is older and definitely doesn't get cleaned regularly. Some weights have a lot of dirt or something on it and my hands will turn black with it. Super super small making it impossible to go to during peak hours. Low ventilation so it gets pretty smelly as well

DO NOT GET HAIRCUT HERE, Worst haircut I’ve had in upstate NY. The stylist was finished in 4 minutes, no care was given when edging up back. She pushed the clippers so fast that they jammed multiple times pulling my scalp. The edging up was so bad I had go to the barber after my visit to correct her mistakes. The stylist was clearly more eager to go home than do a good job.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

It’s probably a 5 for what it’s supposed to be but this was the most ghetto gym I’ve ever been to in my life. No towels, no mouthwash, no lotion, shampoo, etc. No one working at the gym cleans the machines, at least not that I saw. No sauna, never mind a pool.Just run down and gross.

I wish Google had the option of leaving 0 star reviews. I had scheduled a haircut appointment 2 weeks ago. The day before the appointment, someone called and told me the hairdresser was out sick and I should call back the next week. I called the previous Saturday and had an appointment booked for Tuesday. After I go into the gym for my haircut, the front desk tells me that the hairdresser is out for two more weeks and that they had called everyone in the appointment list on Saturday to inform. When I mentioned that I never got a call and that I had actually setup the appointment on Saturday, the PF employee just shrugged their shoulder and walked off. Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior. It will be a month since you've had a hairdresser on site. If you cannot schedule simple appointments, why offer the service at your location and then be rude about it?

This is the main gym I go to. It's always crazy busy when you go to use a treadmill or use weight machines. Men's room smells god awful and is never really cleaned. Also, the music could be turned down in there, even having headphones in you cannot hear anything aside from the music they have playing and you can't even hear a person right next to you. I know it's a gym, but ease up a bit.Also, they put up a "Masks optional" sign on the front door, even though the mask mandate is still going on in New York state. People walking around maskless and not social distancing either.

This is the first and only business that has refused us entry because we were wearing face/neck coverings instead of earloop masks. Our covering material is thicker and does not have gaps, unlike earlobe masks. This is absolutely ridiculous!

I have reached out multiple times to cancel my daughter membership and they still continued to take money from my account, I don’t recommend this gym to anyone. It’s all about getting your money😡😡😡i also called and spoke to a supervisor there to get my money reimbursed and Jazmin said they couldnt which i thought was not the truth. if you are a supervisor you could have done it, but we will never use this gym again. It shouldnt be about the money, you dont take out a gym fee when the gym hasnt been opened in months due to the Pandemic but Planet Fitness still took money out and the yearly fee of $39, money hungry is what i call it

Awful service. The manager Jasmine is not there to help her customers at all she was extremely rude to me and she was actually the one that was responsible for the mistake that was made. I put my membership on hold for three months at the latham gym and they confirmed it to me verbally atleast three times before i left. Now when one month went by i got charged for my membership again which i was highly upset about. When i tried to confront the Albany manager about it she had every excuse in the book for why the company was not responsible for her mistake she made. When i was persistent with my problem she ended up just saying“i cant hear you” so id stop. She also claimed that the workers at latham gave me wrong information about how long my freeze term was and that i cant cancel membership through the phone and i had to do it in person; which Latham said i could do it over the phone now because of corona. Turns out that they actually only put my account on freeze for one month and not three which was never said to me. And when you sign confirming everything you sign through a POS system, so you cant read over the contract it just gives you the box to sign. Who only does freezes in accounts for only one month? That seems so pointless just so they can scam you of money. I ended up not having the money to pay for my bills because they robbed me and did not refund me. I don’t even use my membership either. So once i found out they dont really care about their customers i went to cancel my membership entirely because i didnt want to get screwed again. When i told them my reason and even started the coworker helping me interrupted me and did not put my real reason down for the cancellation she put down “coronavirus” which i need to call and change because thats not the real reason at all. Awful and I’ll never give planet fitness my buisness again from how they treated my situation.
