The equipment is good but I've started to notice things at this location do not get fixed. The water fountains have been broken for weeks, there is a few water leaks on the roof, the ac couldn't keep up during the summer months, and there's HUGE potholes (plural) throughout the parking lot. Someone could really get hurt if they fall on one. They really need to start investing some money in the facility. This is getting ridiculous.

This Gym is a total Ripp off ! When they say Join for 1 dollar don't believe them because it's 1 dollar then in a few days it's 43 dollars and some change. Plus they don't go over plans in detail and want u to sign up for the 12 month membership so they can take your money. Plus all the bulky people look at new people weird.

I went to one personal training session. I don’t know who trains your trainers or what certification you require but my experience was not good. If I didn’t know a thing of two about training I might not know that you probably should not ask a 58 YO, out of shape woman to try and lift a 100lb weighted bag as a first attempt lift. You should always start lighter and go up.Added: They also need to remodel their shower areas, they are very run down at least the womens and I assume the mens is the same way

I have been coming here for years because of the pool, hot tub, steam room, bikes and water exercise that help my arthritis. I swam during the pandemic when most stayed away so I could stay functional and in less pain. Now it seems that there is always broken equipment that doesn't get fixed for months, and cleanliness is sometimes lacking. This used to be the best gym around and it is only @ 10 years since the big "remodel", but it seems like a much older place now. I wish they would keep things up more and open up the steam rooms again, which have been MIA since the pandemic. Steam kills the virus! It would be much safer to be in a steam room than a sauna these days! Get with it Defined or you will lose your membership to other gyms!

I started going back to the gym but felt I wasn't motivated enough to help myself. So I got paired with Sydney Shilling. She was a blessing. She is an excellent personal trainer who motivates you without being too pushy. Thank you Sydney, for all you have done for me. I really appreciate it!

I have been a member for a little over two years now. I completed my private training with Sydney. If you are serious about learning the ropes in a gym and learning how to use the equipment try the private training. I highly recommend Sydney as a trainer. She helps with form, diet, how to use the equipment and she motivates you. I am now on my own and I am confident on going out on my own now. I love this gym and the people.

The equipment and space are good but it would be nice if guests could check themselves in. In the evenings the front desk at juan tabo acts as if you've interrupted their conversations, and bosque club acts like you've interrupted their meal. The morning staff is always welcoming though.

Paul is amazing as general manager!! Extremely amazing quality machines, been an active member since 2014 and would recommend any one to come to this club! By far the best of all of the defined fitness clubs as well as the cleanest!!

*Edited to point out that Defined replied to this review saying they fired their personal trainer manager. So you know this isn't a fake review.*I bought their promotional 3-for-$100 bundle of training sessions to start my fitness journey. Before I had purchased, I made sure to ask if the sessions could be for anything I wanted since my sole focus was to get started on heavy weightlifting and proper form. I was told that since it was my money, it was my right to hire professionals who cared about my goals.Their assurance turned out to be sweet talk and I quickly realized how wrong I was in choosing Defined. The first session was to talk about my goals and the personal trainer manager was very unprofessional. It turned into an hour-long negging session when he realized I knew a few things about nutrition rather than an evaluation session. A pointless, disrespectful and infuriating onboarding appointment. To basically try to get my money's worth, I went ahead and scheduled my first training session, another young man. I told the trainer my goal of heavy weightlifting and learning proper form since I knew enough about nutrition to get started. Nope, he said that he had a degree in nutrition and so a nutritional powerpoint would be our next appointment no matter what I actually bought the sessions for. The current short 30-minute session was putting me on the threadmill for what he himself called "mindless cardio" while he chatted up another gym-goer. If I wanted Afterward, I went to request a refund and (SURPRISE!) no refunds on the 3-for-$100 bundle no matter what terrible service you're getting.I was finally given a female trainer and she was a lot more respectful. However, the feeling that my sessions were being purposefully stretched out to get more expensive and short sessions from me never left. We only practiced one power-move for the rest of the sessions left and that was the end of my $100 and hopes of feeling like a valued customer.Personal trainers are great if you find genuine ones who care about your goals. This place definitely has money-hungry ones who do anything but. Please find another place to take instruction from if you are TRULY SERIOUS about diving head-first into your fitness goals.

Only been a member for a few months so far but it's been a pretty good experience so far!All the equipment is nice enough and the cost isn't too bad at all. Also nice to be able to hit any of the locations depending on where I happen to be in town and I don't have to remember a card or anything since it's on my phone. Definitely prefer this one out of the ones I've been to though. Huge space, lots of machines and kind staff. Also helps that's it's close to home of course.
