Midtown Sports and Wellness in Albuquerque offers a wealth of amenities catering to both families and individuals. Conveniently located and with friendly staff, it features abundant workout equipment, outdoor and indoor pools, saunas, and a steam room. This gym stands out for its clean facilities and wide range of fitness classes, including group yoga.

Been a member for life but they need to stay open until at least 10! Didn’t like getting kicked out of the sauna at 8:50, 10 minutes before they close at 9!

Don't go here if you expect anyone to be wearing a mask properly. No one is and it's not enforced. Myself and my friends unfortunately have had to stop going because they clearly have no intention of making people wear masks despite multiple complaints.

I love this gym. Everyone is friendly and easy going. The staff is fantastic and they have handled the pandemic with care and hard work. You won't find better in Albuquerque.

I have been going to Midtown Sports and wellness for over 10 years. And out of the 5 Sports and Wellness Clubs in town, Modtown has the most welcoming atmosphere. Shout out to Ruth! Ruth teaches several classes at midtown, she is always kind and encouraging.

Susan from sports and wellness went above and beyond when myself and other person came to the conclusion that the hours couldn’t accommodate our schedule. Though this gym would be ideal 😍 we had to walk away. Susan was very considerate and exhausted all efforts to advocate for me! I really hope in the future I can experience this gym. For now am just grateful for the wonderful staff member that went to bat for me 🙏

The management of Midtown Sports and Wellness is an indication of how all the other locations are managed, because they are managed by the same general manager. The behavior of the training staff on the floor is unacceptable. Especially, when the general manager lacks interest to remain neutral in resolving issues. I no longer feel safe to workout at any of their facilities when management allows bad behavior towards it customers. I witnessed a situation in its entirety. The general manager dismissed my input, when he indicated that what I witnessed did not happen. The issue was not resolved and I no longer feel working out at Sports and Wellness.I will be cancelling my membership.

I should probably leave a review because midtown is basically my home away from home 😅I’m so thankful for midtown! The staff is amazing and the facility is always beautifully clean! My big brag is the Swim instructor Kateri. We started private lessons with another swim instructor for my 5 year old at the beginning of the summer and it honestly was not a good experience. In light of that experience we were offered the opportunity to switch instructors and immediately got in contact with Kat. I’m so thankful we met Kat!She is so gentle and so kind. My daughter has learned so much and she absolutely loves Swimming with Kat.She is always on time, she is always eager to listen to my daughter and she is so very flexible with scheduling. Seriously! She needs to be working with young children. She is absolutely fabulous and we count her as a blessing to us constantly. We originally were only planning on doing swim lessons over the summer (which we missed most of with the prior instructor) but after starting with Kat we keep signing up for more private lessons because we just love her and the experience she gives our Daughter every week.

Good sized gym with all the equipment you need, friendly staff, clean, and not overcrowded even during peak hours. I came here on an unexpected one-night stop in Albuquerque while my hotel gym was closed, and they recommended we come here. Definitely recommend especially if you just need a short-term pass.

Haven't been to this location in ten years and unfortunately it appears nothing has changed or been updated. The treadmill I used kept skipping at only 6mph and the floor equipment is just meh. For the amount they charge they should atleast maintain their equipment if they're trying to make the machines last for decades. This is really the same review for midtown and del norte. I swear a lot of the machines at these locations have been there for 20 plus years...sticky cables and all.

I returned today after taking two months off due to the Covid pandemic. I must say that it felt good to see my ole friends and to finally exercise my body. BUT, I was turned off by the careless display of some people on the exercise floor. This group of people were exercising and moving on without cleaning their equipment and had, at times, their masks off while talking to each other. Another had his mask below his nose. I left and hope this isn't a common occurrence.
