24 Hour Fitness

Was a member here for a few years. Everything is...adequate. It's like, on the one hand, they have 20ish elliptical machines, so that's nice. But 4 of them are posted out of order, and another 3 have minor issues, so I jump around to find one that works.Area is clean but not spotless, sure dirt gets places, and nothing was gross, but I would find the odd cobweb or very worn pad.Staff changed enough that some were good and some were bad, so I think like most places it comes and goes.Prices at the time I was there were very reasonable.I would totally join this gym again if I didn't have a better option. And it's not going to be a horrible place. But you might find better.

This place is really going in the right direction under the new management team. The GM is very dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get back in the gym or seeking a new gym membership.

The gym equipment is maintained well enough, it's not GREAT, but they do have everything I need which is really all I care about. One downside though is that most of the staff definitely always seems indifferent but they do what they need to do.I'm only here because it's what's closest to me right now. I've been to better for less.

Tried to sign in as a guest for a class to see if I wanted to sign up. I filled out the form and showed my ID. I was handed back my ID and everyone turned away so I thought I was good to go. Manager called me back and said I "almost got away" implying I was trying to sneak in. He said I had to fill in more information to get a pass, he then proceeded to turn around and talk to a guest who arrived after me and did nothing else to help get my guest pass. I ended up walking out as they took so long ignoring me the class had started. Guess they aren't interested in new customers.

Got harassed yesterday for working out with my own children. I was accused of being a trainer the harassment lasted 30 minutes all because the trainers there are thirsty and obviously intimidated. My kids are basketball players and all i see the trainers doing is training people that are over 45 years old doing more talking than working. The manager flagged my account and i was never asked anything prior or given the benefit of the doubt. No warning no anything. The steam room has not been working for weeks and the hot tub was down yesterday. I think the manager and staff of 24 hour fitness of allen should be worried about their facility and the amenities they are advertising working properly instead of harrassing members because their trainers are starving. Sounds like personal problem to me! The customer is always right!! 24 hour fitness addison is way better ran and all things advertised actaully work including the trainers!!!!Given by the reviews rating im not alone

went here to join a friend on a Sun PM last week..upon entering there was no towels to give out as unlike the other 24hr places, the men's locker room was unclean ...the only good thing i liked was the layout.

How this place is still in business boggles my mind. After being a faithful member for 10 years, due to a clerical error my membership got terminated. I had a really good rate due to a promotion that they were running at the time. I was never sent a bill October 2016 as I usually was therefore never remembered to pay it. Once I went into use the facilities they said my membership is terminated and were unwilling to reinstate it at the rate I had before. The customer service is shoddy at best, and the facilities always need help. I guess I was getting what I paid for all along, and will treat myself to an upgrade now.

Apparently having a membership isn't enough to use the facility to where the manager himself unable to use his own system to check my son into the gym we've been frequenting for the past 4 plus years, he asked my wife to leave the facility after telling him he was wrong.Non wonder they lose business and their rating is 2 stars.Dirty, horrible customer service, just filthy facility.Lifetime has proven why they stand out and even fitness connection or family fitness.But 24 ur fitness can keep their dirt to themselves.Will.make sure this review makes it to corporate

Overall, great experience but bodybuilders and hardcores be warned though it's like Planet Fitness. They frown on dropping weights and heavy breathing. 1 gentleman Angel at the front desk was very nice. The other staff on the other hand too much like Planet Fitness.

Clean and neat 24 hour location. Also convenient location close to 75. Trainers and people are friendly and from all age brackets. Place gets busy week days between 5pm and 6:30pm
