First of all the manager cares. The only one I've experienced really caring. I have arthritis, and osteoporosis. I have had hip and knee surgery. I use a noodle and ride the noodle like a bicycle. Also I swim with my arms. I could barely do 20 min. when I first began and could barely walk to get the noodle back to the pool steps. I now swim an hour when I come and sit in the whirlpool. I have no swelling in my ankles and legs. I've lost weight and inches. I'm down from obese to overweight. I slowly losing pounds and inches. I don't go too fast because it irritates my knee and hip. I leave after work and go to the pool and go in on Sat. and Sun. I'm trying to do 4 days a week. I want to up it to 5. I think I will probably really be able to do 4. If I had not been working out, I would not be able to walk as well, have as much strength, and definitely would have had to have knee surgery. Again I want to say thank you to the staff and the manager. I'm older, and he still cares. I work 6 days a week at a Health Clinic in Plano at the front desk. I consider this to be one of the most important things I do besides my wonderful family etc. I lost my son @ age 45. I helps with the horrible pain of losing him. I also use protein drinks, and am trying to cut the carbs. Going to get a phone so I can use the My fitness pal app. A strong reminder. ha. When you realize what all the stuff does to you, you have a bit more resolve to hang in there.

I joined this gym because I've heard great things about 24. This gym is not the one those good things were said about. The facility is filthy, the equipment is old and more often than not broken. When something breaks forget about using it, it's out for months. There is only one squat rack. I repeat there is one free weight squat rack for the entire gym. The place is a nightmare, but I'm stuck until my membership expires. Do not make the same mistake.

Well--- it has a roof overhead. That's a plus for this gym.Probably the worst 24 hour GYM I've ever been in.My wife will not work out here. She signed up with a competitor. Serious need of a Complete overhaul!! Long over due. Don't know how they stay in business.

I enjoyed my time here. I'll admit that I seldom do classes, use a trainer, or go upstairs to the cardio area, but they have all the equipment I need and I almost never have to wait for anything to open up. Staff and trainers were always friendly and fun to talk to, except for upper management who felt a little stuffy but you almost never see the upper management so that's rarely an issue. A nice gym.

Some staff in this gym are very deceitful. They told you one price/promotion this day, and wouldn't honor it the next day. Be careful when you bring friend or sign up new membership.

I've been using this gym for the last year. The showers are always filthy (I go home to shower now) and the place has a slight run down feel to it. However, the staff is friendly and helpful minus the idiot on my first day there who said "No offense but we call the upstairs the ladies area" and I'm female. I haven't seen him in awhile. Dear employee.. saying "no offense" doesn't make it less offensive.

I am usually very happy with my everyday attendance and workout at 24 hour fitness. I love going to the group x classes. However, I was very disappointed to find that my favorite class of the week, Step Aerobics, was removed from the schedule and replaced by NTC which is on the schedule several other days of the week. I hope to see it back on the schedule soon, otherwise, I will be working out somewhere else on Fridays.

I was a member there for two years....had a good staff when I joined, since then its been a revolving door. 24 Hour Fitness, nationwide, is for sale so the clubs are running in a minimum budget mode...very slow to repair broken equipment...things get stolen and they never get replaced. They have ourdated stuff they can't even get parts for now. The place has gotten dingy and dirty. The Trainers there don't look like they are fit themselves. The men's locker room gets cleaned once a week, maybe.... it stinks terribly in there at times. There are a few options near by now...some folks have moved to 24 Hour in Murphy or McKinney. They had about 10,000 memebers so are pulling in a lot of money each month. I imagine it will stay open as some people just get used to things and are okay with 10 year old gear. I am sure it was nice at one time, but now is a run down pit.

I love 24hour fitness but this location has really gone downhill the past few years. The club is always dirty and the machines are always broken. its EXTREMELY hot upstairs in the cardio area. the fans they put in don't do anything to cool the upstairs. i still dont understand why they can't just crank up the A/C.

While it's close to home I am continually disappointed in the general upkeep of this club. The cardio machines are always dirty. Many of them are broken and it's VERY hot up in the cardio area. They added ceiling fans recently to try and combat the heat but they fall short. I pay hard earned money to belong to this place and feel shorted the more I go. I use a personal trainer there and will follow her to another facility in a heart beat.
