24 Hour Fitness

I finally decided to cancel my membership to 24 Hour Fitness Allen, TX. Too many machines and other equipment are down too often. The facility just looks tired and is need of a major updating. The pool looks dirty, the steam room smells moldy and the sauna has stains in the wood. The Men's locker room feels dirty. I mentioned all of this staff but they are powerless to make changes. Wake up 24 Hour corporate!!

Sauna is really cold compared to other saunas. It’s almost pointless of going in it’s that cool. Many members at the gym complain also so it’s not just me. Pool has a bad odor smell that’s not normal. I don’t recommend anyone to use this gym.

Signed my son up on month to month since we do the Costco 2 year and it's almost up, and since Feb 2019, 5 months, I've paid them over $200!!! $85 to sign up, 2 monthly charges of $35 and on top of that they charged me his annual fee of $54!! He hasn't even been a member for 1 year and he's probably gone a total of 4 times! Of course the manager couldn't cancel his account over the phone, and member services is closed on weekends, so I have to wait till Monday. We've been going here for years, so it's just dissapointing. It's probably time for a change anyways.

This gym is the worst! The facility itself isn’t what’s so bad, it’s the management and the lack of communication between the gym and corporate. They overcharged me month after month adding up to $180 over my overall dues & refused to return my money. They did the same thing with my boyfriend except they over charged him by $400! And again, refused a refund. We both spoke to the site manager & corporate and both were of no help and sent us in circles to the other. Upon canceling they tried to charge me $200 of which I pretty much already paid because they just took it from my account each month. This place is the worst!!! The one in Frisco I was a member of for almost 4 years and never had an issue.

the people at the first desk are nice, everything seem good give it a week and you start seeing how dirty it is ceiling,machines,showers,suana, when you walk into where the pools are at it smells like dirty mold water ew!!!and last night I got robbed and the manager just told me that they can't really do anything cause the cameras are for the gym not for the parking lot but this is not the 1st times it's happen the lady in the front told me and someone else got robbed the same day so if you are planning to go to the gym park in the very front and make sure you see what I'm talking about in the front!!!!! you will never see anyone who works there cleaning.

Horrible condition and lack of equipment maintenance. There customer service is just as bad, lost count of how many times they told me to go to their website to solve my issues. Don’t come here.

Judging by the stars that are already posted this want even matter but I’ve never had a problem with 24 because I just enjoy working out. I knew before I even went in today to cancel I wouldn’t be able to because no one who could cancel would be in. This seems to be how they work and operate just like fitness connection and several other gyms. Look all I want to do is cancel with our being charged my next monthly fee or my annual fee but it seems as if your gonna lock me into that. What a way to stand behind your product and what you stand for. Anyways just my thoughts and I know your building new locations and reviews on the places your closing want matter but I figured why not give it a try.

Liked it at first... BUT lately no matter what time I go it is very crowded and I can’t finish my workout because every inch of space has someone in it. Some of the equipment has been broken since I started with no sign of being fixed. Also, there has been a bandaid stuck on the side of a bench in the locker room for two weeks now. So if that’s not being cleaned I hate to think what else isn’t. If it wasn’t so close to my house I would have already quit my membership

Thomas the general manager is quite a attitude issue , he embarrassed a member by coming out there repeatedly and pretty much lower the weight and told him things he should tell him in a area where other members coul not hear it . I just went in and said hey man , if you are going to do that to members I understand u have a policy but can u pull them aside and have a professional conversation . He rolled his eyes and gave disgust facial expressions

This place needs an update. The steam room doesn’t smell very good.
