I'd say about 4.5 honestly. Since the remodel everything looks, smells and just feels so much better. It's very clean, easy to remember the layout. Sanitation on point considering the circumstances. This location has great variety in work outs. The only reasons I knock one star off is 1) I really wish they had more group class options. Working 9-5 I feel like I miss all the more fun ones. And 2) because their only spray tan booth at this location is either broken or just not working correctly. In there naked and afraid trying to get that thing working right..

The Alaska Club went from being a great gym to the worst gym in Anchorage quickly in the last year or two. The class schedules are horrible and cater to those who dont work between 8-5 Monday- Friday. Not to mention some of the facilities …

This place is very clean very nice, the locker rooms are very clean, they have everything , I mean everything. Multiple weight rooms. Tennis club, racquetball basketball, all sorts of classes. Just a really nice gym, I wish there south location was this nice, it’s not even close. I drive from O’Malley just to go here and not have to go to south.

I have really enjoyed my membership with the Alaska Club, and have usually felt like I get my money’s worth. In June, our daughter was diagnosed with cancer and life flighted out of state for 9+ months of treatment. When I called to discuss my membership, I was informed that I could not put my account on hold. And that if I cancel, I would need to pay for the rest of the month (understandable) and the NEXT MONTH. $150+ for an extra month of services you no longer have access to is A LOT when you’re now paying significant medical bills and travel expenses. I was disappointed in their business practice of money over people 😩

This place not only has the best equipment and experience, it has some amazing staff! Very friendly and very attentive! Especially Brittany up front at the East location! Always a great day when I see her welcoming smile and kind words of encouragement! She gets six stars!

I just wanted a day pass to use the jacuzzi and pool. They had a whole process just for this so they can talk us into membership. We just wanted to pay to use the pool and jacuzzi. What a waste of time. I paid a the front desk just to use the facilities and now there is a different process? Never coming here again.

I am so grateful the Alaska Club has reopened! I've missed it, my body and mind have missed it. My day simply is not complete without some time there so not going has been a tricky endeavor to get my body in sync with the new Covid 19 reality. I love everything about the club: the friendly atmosphere, the variety of activities, the pool, sauna and jacuzzi, the cardio room, the different classes, all make a world of difference in how I feel. THANK YOU! Thank you, Alaska Club!

Jose was great, I was going to redeem just a free pass till Jose recommend I sign up, which as for free. I don't know what the $20 was for but I enjoyed the club, apparently I feel like I'm being judged by one of the employee, she look Chinese American and has dirty blonde hair. I will come here more often for such a friendly staff, besides that one girl.

The Alaska Club is more than a gym. It is expensive but worth it... If you can stand working with their accounting department (I assume the issues stem from policies in place and not the actual workers... Who always seem very nice)

My least favorite AK Club. Went with my brother for him to have a trial day/week, but he later told me about his experience. He kept getting asked questions on why he couldn’t just sign up right then and there. He never even got to workout in the gym beforehand. He spent over 30 minutes explaining his current situation which he shouldn’t have had to do.
