I signed up for a national gym membership. I drove home to Michigan thinking I could cancel. I could not. I then drove back to New Jersey to cancel. I arrived the day after my 2nd months charge. In short I paid around 100$ for less then a month of gym access. I had to drive over 600 miles to cancel. I paid for gym access for the next 30 days but since I canceled I am not allowed to use these days. The rules are you have to wait 90 days to transfer gyms. If you cant come in person to transfer you have to write a letter to the gym. Also transfers take time to process know oneknew how long the wait is. There is no way of canceling via the phone or app.I feel like I got SCAMMED big time. I am going to file a report with the better business bureau. Customers shouldn't have to drive 600miles just to cancel. I came in for a 10$ a month membership and ended up paying 100$ for less then a month.

What I like about it is lots of workout machines to choose from to workout and with my black membership card, lots of stuff I can have access to. I love it and would recommend this to anybody!

Planet Fitness: 24/7 clean clubs with good ventilation, a great variety of well-maintained machines, friendly, helpful staff, and lots of purple. What's not to like? (rhetorical)

The convenance of the facility at the Washtenaw location in Ypsilanti, Michigan, their members, and the fact that they DO NOT have deplorable signs about what women can’t wear to workout in like the do at the location on Ford Rd!!!

It’s cheap, but man they must treat their employees terribly. I can’t think why else they’d seem so unhappy. Plus they require an app for check in now, and don’t seem to have any solutions for people without smartphones / kids

Great place. Every kind of machine that I can imagine. Plenty of machines, no problem getting on the ones I want. All the facilities are nice and clean. Friendly people, customers and staff.
