Staff is super friendly. Equipment is outdated compared to other PF’s and machines that are out of order tend to not be repaired quickly if ever. Lansing PF seems a lot nicer.

Manager (short skinny guy) is extremely rude! If you’re gonna be a manager, you need to know how to deal with people, customers, etc and this guy 100% lacks it.

This is a great gym with friendly staff and a chill atmosphere. They seem to take cleanliness seriously. I've never had any problems with this gum and have been coming here for years.

Hands down the absolute best Planet Fitness I have ever been to. The club is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and their equipment is up to date.

It's a great place to work out, there's many different variety of machines that help many different muscle types, the staff are phenomenal and the hydro messages help my back pain so I can work out more without stressing to hard. 17/10 in my opinion.

This is the best Planet Fitness location in a 30 mile radius. It's less crowded and cleaner than Ann Arbor, and the staff is friendlier and less hell-bent on being weird than Belleville (Belleville has the best facility but I'm constantly asked to show ID, which I always do when asked, but it's annoying).I hate rating PF 5 stars as a gym (the chain only deserves 3.8-4 for my purposes), but I've noticed that the Ypsi location's rating is lower than Ann Arbor and that's completely backwards, so I'm rating it five stars since it's the best PF location in the area. I cannot overstate how much cleaner and less crowded it is than Ann Arbor. And importantly staff is friendly without being obsequious and intrusive. The _only_ downside to this location is the parking lot can occasionally feel mildly sketch. But only mildly and only on occasion.

This is a very nice location; Newly renovated with all new everything -- equipment, locker rooms, TVs, 2 types of HydroMassage beds, and much more. The staff is friendly. The entire location is maintained and cleaned regularly, though it gets busy and members don't always wipe down the equipment.I go there at least 5 days/week, less on nice days (riding my bicycle instead), but I'd still ride my bicycle there for the HydroMassage!

This is the only Planet Fitness I've been to so I can't compare it to others, but I will say that I wouldn't want to go to another one because this one is perfect. From the employees to the way the equipment is set up and the other customers. The atmosphere is just how it needs to be.

The staff is always pleasant and very helpful. They provide an extensive tour of the place and tell you upfront about the cost and fees before you sign up. Every time I ask to use the massagers, they give me a generous amount of time. The place is clean and well-stocked; you always see staff members cleaning or replacing supplies. There are a lot of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals) and a good amount of weight machines as well (they have duplicate machines for a lot of them so there's not a lot of wait). If you've never been there, be aware that you need the Planet Fitness app to sign in every time.The only thing for me is that I wish they had better paper towels to clean your machine with. They use these really flimsy brown ones on a large roll that you have to unwind and spray down. They are not really good at folding up or absorbing the cleaning spray. I have also noticed that people kind of crowd up the cleaning stations at times because they're all trying to grab towels and spray at the same time. Some gyms have reusable towels and spray bottles you can take with you as you workout, or wet wipe stations. I understand this might be pricier for a gym this size, so I think just getting better quality towels would be a great improvement.
