This gym while being new was absolutely awesome with the absolute best showers I've ever seen at any planet fitness Nationwide! The staff there was super awesome as well. Owners should definitely come in Dawson, Jackson, Payten on their awesome social skills and courteous behavior with all attendees. Very clean and well maintained as you will see in the pictures! Highly recommended!

I was meaning to go cancel my membership here because I moved to an apartment with a gym. I was charged my yearly dues, but went in the same day to tell them I wanted to cancel and wouldn't be at the gym for the year they were charging me for. The girl at the desk was really rude about it when I explained and asked for a refund. She said it was my responsibility to cancel before the dues came out. Ok, sure but any place decent I think would understand and give a refund, I was charged just a couple hours before I showed up. Now I'm paying $80 for a year that they know I will not even be at their gym. Thanks planet fitness, I supported you for years. Even hardly went during the pandemic but kept my membership going to support when you guys were able to open back up after being closed down. Then when I tell you guys that I'm not going to be with you anymore because I have access to my own gym, you still keep my money for dues for the year I'm not even going to be there. Way to treat a loyal customer of 2 or 3 years.

I like the gym and how I can always get a machine in the morning around 6am. I do not like the people who work at this one. I’ve used 4 different locations: Renton, Bonney Lake and two in Tacoma. This would be the fifth and I’ve been using River rd for about a week. Usually employees are very nice and welcoming, but these ones act like they are being inconvenienced anytime you say something to them. I’ll probably be finding a sixth location if I can find one near my work.

This gym is pretty great for new gym-goers. I can't say if it is also good for the experienced member because I am not one. They offer a clean and pleasant atmosphere with a variety of machines that include easy-to-follow instructions. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that they advertise equipment that you can track online but it is never hooked up.

Love having this place around! I thought 24 hours a day was just too good to be true but I was totally wrong. Being able to workout at midnight on a weekday is PERFECT for my work schedule. The selection of machines and the friendly staff makes coming here that much better. It also helps that the place is clean as can be. It's my go-to gym. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I was shown around the facility with an explanation of each area and how things worked if it wasn't obvious. I was introduced to a trainer without any pressure at all to do anything and given a schedule with upcoming classes that were included in my membership. The important part is that nobody acted like I was required to be in a class or get expensive training, it's all just included and not a big deal if you don't care to do it.Two things I like better about the gym I am leaving though is that they offer little towels for cleaning equipment and combo locks on the lockers themselves (you don't need to bring your own lock). The cleaning of the machines is by paper towel and liquid solution. It works, but probably not as good as a solution soaked towel... Oh well, I can bring my own towel. Overall, 5 stars, I am excited to spend some time here. Oh and the price is unreal.. only $10 with no commitment. Wild.

Tons of workout equipment for a super cheap price. Everything is clean. They have water fountains, Spa, bathrooms, Showers etc.

I just moved here from SC and I am stoked by how much nicer the Puyallup PF is compared to my old one in Greenville. Twice as many machines, plus ones like the rowing machine, the foam rollers, and a few others I haven't seen before. It's never too busy either.

The staff is very welcoming. I always get a "Hello" "have a good workout" and "have a good day" when I am there. The gym is also very clean. Its seems like someone from the staff is always cleaning, which is not a bad thing. The locker room (at least the women's) is very nice and also VERY clean. All of the equipment is new and in great working conditions. Very happy I joined PF!

I just joined this gym a month ago and the prices are great it's like 10 dollars month to month I joined the premier black it's twenty a month and with that you get free unlimited tanning you can bring guests like ten times a month I think it's huge 24 hours s day 7 days a week .staff is very nice.
