My 15 year old son has been working out with David since last February and it has been fantastic! He was interested in training with weights but I wanted to ensure he learned how to train correctly with proper form and proper breathing. David’s training is exactly what he needed as he shows my son how to stand, how to breath, what body position he should be in and what muscles should be firing for each. He always demonstrates the move first and watches closely while my son performs the reps, redirecting if he sees something off. I appreciate this as David wants to make sure he does not injure himself and gets the most benefit from each set. What he is learning he’ll remember for life regardless of where he goes to work out later as he grows up. Great experience! Can’t recommend David enough.

Vilita is the best personal trainer I’ve ever had! She is patient with those just starting their journey, encouraging, and makes everything clear to understand. She takes the time to get to know her clients, understands their strengths/weaknesses, and how best to achieve personal success. She also is amazing at making adjustments/accommodations when needed! She tailors workouts to the individual. I highly recommend Vilita for anyone looking to achieve fitness goals!

I could not be happier with Nicky at Austin Simply Fit. He really listens to what my goals and needs are and kept it all in mind when devising a plan, a plan that has evolved as I have gotten stronger. In fact, I have to say he has gone above and beyond what any other trainer I’ve ever worked with has done.I have a problematic spine and hips that have caused me to live with chronic pain, so training me is not a walk in the park. And it’s never been easy for me either, but he makes it fun and I really appreciate the ‘Atta girl!’ attitude because I need those; they often remind me to celebrate the small victories.Another thing I really appreciate about Nicky is that he knows how to read the room. He pushes me, and because of that I accomplish things I didn’t know I was even capable of. But he is also aware that I know my body and hard limits and again, he listens. It’s a fine line, but he manages to navigate this dichotomy successfully. If you want someone attentive who knows his stuff, Nicky is your guy!As for this gym, I love it too! It’s not big, compared to some of the corporate gyms out there. But it packs a punch and lacks nothing! It has literally everything you need and them some and it’s personal training by appt only so you’ll never have to wait for anything. Austin Simply Fit is simply awesome 👏 👏 👏

Having John Cioffredi as my trainer for the past 4+ months has been one of the best decisions I’ve made all year. After having decided to take my health and fitness seriously, I felt as though I needed some assistance to reach my goals after neglecting a healthy fitness routine for multiple years and John has been great to work with since Day 1 of this process. In the beginning, I was cautious of finding a trainer that would push me too far and make me dread coming into the next workout. So, I truly appreciated John’s approach of taking it slow in the beginning, gauge where my fitness levels really are and then start making improvements from there. Since I started, I’ve lost 20+ pounds, but, more importantly, my breathing is better, my back pain is gone, my endurance and recovery levels have made huge improvements, I feel better about myself and what I’m doing and I’m looking forward to continuing to make improvements and set personal records for myself. As someone who too frequently makes excuses, I’ve never once have thought about canceling a workout just b/c I didn’t feel like it and I think John is a huge reason behind that. He’s a great personal trainer who’s very knowledgeable about not just workout routines, but he’ll also pay close attention to make sure you’re using the right form consistently and he’ll tell you about the reasons behind the different movements and what the body’s going through by doing certain exercises. Additionally, he’s an incredibly encouraging and uplifting person and just a great guy to be around multiple times a week. Before I started working out with him, I had preexisting knee and shoulder problems and he’ll modify exercises on the fly to make sure that we aren’t over-stressing an area that's causing pain. I could keep singing John’s praises, but, as someone who doesn’t typically write reviews, I would highly recommend John Cioffredi’s services to anyone who’s looking to make a positive change in their health and fitness lifestyle.

Small and very clean gym. It’s nice to walk in knowing people won’t be sweating right next to you and the equipment is properly wiped down and sanitized. The trainers are friendly and happy to help. I train with Nicky T; he’s always on time, has a thorough training plan for the session already prepared, and stays positive. I would recommend Austin Simply Fit on S Lamar and Nicky T to anyone!

I have been training with Vince Maier, BE CAREFUL what you ask for!I put my foot in my mouth when we talked about my goals and he has smiled and pushed me way past what I thought was possible since. He is one of the easiest people to get along with but has every characteristics you could ask for in a trainer! The gym as a whole is state of the art facility (besides the tiny doors to the bathroom) and I've trained at many studios over the years in Austin. The crazy thing is that the equipment is not the best thing about the gym though.... its the employees!!! they bring the energy everyday!

I've been training with Nicky Trbovich for the last couple of weeks and have loved it! He made a great plan for me and I've had some killer sessions with him. He's also pretty flexible if you need to reschedule, is super personable and is always just a text away.The gym is nice and is never overcrowded with trainers/clients. I would highly highly recommend checking Nicky out if you're looking for a great trainer!
