So grateful to have the privilege of working with Melissa Sledge on my fitness goals. It’s refreshing to find a trainer that truly listens to your needs and incorporates them so quickly. She is also very communicative & pushes you to challenge yourself, even when you’re not feeling it. My body began changing after just a few sessions! We’ve been working on my fitness goals for over a month now . Every time I’m in Austin, she is one of the 1st people I text. I know her workouts help me mentally & physically set the tone for my stay. Also, she’s a multifaceted-human. A filmmaker, actor & involved in the local community. I always leave each session anticipating the next. Book that first session now & ya’ll can thank me later, she’s a gem!

I love this gym! Everyone is knowledgeable, real, and friendly. My trainer, Sierra Nevels, is committed to my success in the gym, because she knows that this measures my success as an athlete when I on the courts, trails, anywhere adventure takes me. Form is the biggest part of working out, and she certainly makes certain that I am always in correct form. Working out just feels better this way, and when we work out on our own, we aren't doing half of the exercises correctly (I see so many people at other gyms when travelling doing it all wrong, but hey, at least they are there). My strength has greatly increased in the last few months, and I owe it to Sierra and her training. Thank you!

I’m a professional athlete who is home in between seasons. I was looking for someone to help with injury prevention and strength. The Austin Fit team recommended David Polisky. At first I was skeptical but David quickly blew me away with his knowledge of proper form, encouragement and great workouts, where I see results each week. I enjoy small gyms because it’s feels like your apart of something. Seeing David has made my game better and also made me feel stronger and more confident in myself! Totally recommend joining!

I'm really glad I took a leap of faith and joined Austin Simply Fit. I am not a weight lifter by any means, so I was intimidated by the thought of adding that into my fitness routine. My trainer, Melissa, has helped me tremendously and really makes me feel comfortable when I'm working out. She really strives to focus on not just my problem areas, but my overall health and well-being. She pushes me just enough to motivate me, not intimidate me or body shame. I have noticed a positive change in my physique since training with her - highly recommended!

Austin Simply Fit provides a phenomenal training experience. I was paired with John C. at the South Lamar location and he excelled at all aspects of what I wanted in a fitness professional. He discussed with me exactly what my goals were and developed a plan specifically for me. When you arrive at Austin Simply Fit - you are welcomed into a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that allows you to get right to working out so you dont feel like your time is being wasted. John was great at explaining each exercise, how to perform it correctly, and why it fit my goals. He is attentive, encouraging, and mindful of you while you are there killing yourself. After each session with John I always felt accomplished at the work we did and happy to go tackle the rest of the day. Great experience at the South Lamar location. As someone who prefers a one-on-one workout studio experience over a packed gym I can't recommend it enough. My trainer (David Polisky) is very knowledgeable about muscle groups and proper form which as someone who hasn't worked out in a while I really appreciate.They are also flexible about workout times week to week, which combined with the 30min sessions makes it really easy to work around your work schedule.

I just started my personal training experience at Austin Simply Fit recently but so far have been loving my training sessions with Nicholas Murillo Deluz.As someone who has not worked out in a traditional gym setting in many years, I was initially a little intimidated by some of the equipment in the gym. However, Nick has done a great job at minimizing those "fears" with his personable demeanor and how well he demos each move. He is also very communicative when my form looks great as well as providing constructive feedback on how it can improve - which has been very helpful!During my first session, Nick and I mapped out my short and long term goals and I really appreciate how he will remind me of them during each session to keep me motivated. Nick has also been helpful with providing guidance for how to supplement my workouts with the proper nutrition, which is one of my biggest struggles and something that I truly appreciate. Overall, I've had a great experience with the gym and have no doubt that I will achieve my goals with Nicks guidance!

Dave is my Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer and has made my experience at Austin Simply Fit so enjoyable.On our first session, which is free, he sat with me and gathered information on what my goals are, possible physical weaknesses (I have a bum knee), and other info to tailor a plan that would help me reach where I want to be on the fitness spectrum. Along with proper form, his approach emphasizes positive reinforcement to push you a little further than you think you can reach in your exercises, but always checks in with you to see if you’re okay and always places your personal safety as the highest importance. You know what your body can do, and he respects that without making you feel bad about it which, to me, is a really important and appreciated quality to have from a fitness instructor/personal trainer. I also like that he explains why you’re performing the exercises he gives you and what your body is doing and strengthening when you perform them. Before, I usually dreaded the days that I had to go workout, but now I’m excited to go each day.Another positive aspect about working with Dave is that he is available through text throughout the day if you have any questions for him. His answers are thorough, and he encourages you to ask him any questions about fitness, diet, etc.. You really feel like you’re working together to meet your goals.I’m really excited to continue my fitness journey with Dave and Austin Simply Fit. Everything is personalized and non-judgemental.

As someone who was once in shape and then let myself go I was looking for an environment that would push me, but not make me feel judged for my past choices. Austin Simply Fit provided that opportunity for me. I won't make this a wall of text for anyone to read, however I feel the need to praise the most amazing personal trainer, and that is Melissa Sledge. She's someone that also pulled herself up by the boot straps and can understand the work and dedication that is required to change yourself. As a trainer she is accommodating, by offering both virtual and in gym sessions, as well as someone who will push you to be the best you can be without making you feel small. I always feel challenged in our workouts but never overwhelmed. Her advice about nutrition and the human body is also top notch. If you are looking to get in shape or just feel more healthy though private training I can't think of a more knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated person. Just try it out!
