This place has the worst set up for daycare. Not only do they seem to not care but seem to be full most of the time. We have a family plan yet always seem to have to wait for room. Always see someone having to wait to put their child in. Starting to regret leaving 24 hour fitness for this place. Hopefully the new golds that open will be better. If not, back to 24hiur we go

Most of the equipment is useable, but the age is starting to show on most of it. There is a little musty smell as well like you are in an old basement. Also parking sucks at this location. Overall, it isn't the worst place to work out, but I cannot wait until the slaughter location opens.

Gym staff are friendly and helpful when needed. The hours I tend to visit the gym in the evening are often packed with people, but it is not as overwhelmingly full when compared to other locations in the area. My overall experience at the location is positive, but I do have a few complaints about the availability of adjustable benches, glute ham developer machines, and a decline bench press.

This location is the best golds in austin. Staff is always on point, very professional and always courteous. I usually go in the morning and the girls that work the front desk are so kind and professional. Give those chicks raise 👏. Outstanding lifting environment, clean and sanitary. …

Its convenient but not clean they cut down a lot on the business hrs and are pricey for not having a presentable and many usage of equipment as other Gyms in general.

I was so livid when I had a membership that lapsed. I go back and then ask to pay off my old account in order to reactivate it, then they couldn't find my old info. They proceeded to open a new account and everything was fine. I go in one day to work out and pay a past due bal and low and behold i'm hit with both my new and old membership fees .... "give me my ID back and I left forever"

I go to this gym because it's close to home. I've seen nicer gold gyms, this one is kind of old. It would be nice if they could remodel it, and add more machines for lifting. The employees are great, so I would say that makes up for it.

So I have been working out in my home gym for a few years now, but noticed a few months back I have just really stalled and felt like I needed a push. So i went into Gold's and met with the manager Justin. At first I was so intimidated by his physique, I thought to myself he doesnt know what its like to be a busy mom with 4 little boys. I said I wanted to just sign up for a trial period. . He looked at me and said " what is a couple of days gonna do for you? You came here to change your life so do it" Honestly i think i signed up just to get out of there... But that night i went to get dressed up to go to a nice dinner with my hubby and my dress didnt fit me, I felt devastated. I kept hearing Justins voice ....so I went the next day and have gone every day since. I have lost six inches off my waist, even more than that around my hips area. I went from being able to only walk on the treadmill to being able to run 2 miles. So i just want to say thank you to Justin for pushing me, you are THE BEST at what you do.. I love my new and improved body and I love this gym❤🏋🏊🚴👙❤
