For anyone looking for a great all body workout, including cardio and strength, I highly recommend Orangetheory and especially the Avery Ranch location. Since I moved to North Austin, I have consistently been going to Avery Ranch OT and the front desk staff are always incredibly helpful. My favorite coach above all is Michelle. She always motivates me to be my best self in class. Michelle has a positive attitude during class that is contagious. She makes the benchmark days fun which pushes everyone in the class to new heights. I looked forward to continuing to achieve new benchmark milestones under Michelle's direction. Thank you for all your hard work keeping us going. And thank you Avery Ranch OT for being an amazing team!!!

I’m so angry with this studio. My whole experience there is so bad.Their cancellation policy is so bad that you need to continue having their membership for two months before you can actually cancel the membership. So PLEASE double check with them before you agree to buy that. And you always need to go to their studio to sign form UNLESS you got flu/covid. Everything is online now why can’t they just make it electronic. BECAUSE they will always find ways to persuade you to keeping you spending money or make everything postponed.Their policy doesn’t make sense.1. So I accidentally booked a class there and I called right back to them and asked them to switch the class to another studio within 2 minutes. They still insisted on charging my 12 dollars cancellation fee because of their 8 hour no cancellation policy 🙂2 I bought my membership on Feb. and they forgot Feb only has 28 days. So my first month membership only has 29 days. That’s ridiculous. They’ve been following their policy so hardly. And now when monthly membership should be 30 days they don’t follow that🙂 if I didn’t notice myself I would never know that. And actually they even want to count my free class as my first day. That’s so funny.3. I got flu a month a ago. Instead of allowing me to freeze my account for two weeks they must have you suspend for 1 month. Because that’s their policy. And because I don’t want to renew my membership. They just didn’t reactive my account 🙂I don’t why that keeps happening to me like that maybe because I’m an Asian. 🙂The staff tried to help me but every time I hear the policy didn’t allow them at the end. I don’t know whether all the others have same experience as me. But I’ m very very disappointed at those two months.

I keep telling myself I am going to review Avery and Cedar Park; but get too busy. On the training side of things Morgan, Michelle, and Connie have made such a positive impact on my life. Michelle adds a level of positive energy that is the main reason I changed my home studio to Avery. She is the benchmark for an OT instructor. Morgan is an instructor I have been lucky to train with since being at Arbor Town Square. She will motivate you to new heights. In a very short period of time, Connie has become one of our favorites. Her music choices and feedback are amazing. I do not believe I have seen any of the many instructors to have dabbled in training excel as quickly as she has.At the front desk, we've seen a fair amount of change. Andre, Jaime, and Katelyn are always eager to greet you with a smile! Never shy on playful comments or challenging you to the next benchmark. Thanks for creating a great studio!

Had an opportunity to visit this location and it was a great experience. The moment I walked in the staff was engaging and willing to show me around. I received a detailed walk-through and explanation of the equipment and processes, which helped boost my confidence for the class. The place was clean and well organized. I never felt lost, and my questions were quickly answered by a readily available staff member. Moreover, coach Morgan was awesome! She checked on me throughout the class to ensure I was comfortable with what we were doing, and that I was at the right level or intensity. Overall, great place, awesome staff, and an excellent workout.

I like that the workouts are different every day, the music is jamming and the coaches are supportive but still push us. The front-of-house folks are always pleasant and super helpful. It's as all-around awesome place to burn some calories, build some muscle and have fun doing it!

VERY FRUSTRATING CANCELLATION POLICYThis 8 hour window cancelation system I don't understand what's the point behind it. I woke up early in the morning and found my 1st grader is sick and won't be attend school and now I won't be able to attend the Gym either because I can't leave him alone at home. How would I able to predict 8 hours ago that my son will wake up sick. EMERGENCIES DON'T APPEAR BEFORE 8 HOURS WINDOW. 20 minutes post missed class I received the receipt stating you've been charged 12 dollars. WOW!Noted even accidentally if you scheduled the class while browsing through the app and that's within 8 hours time frame BOOM. ORANGE THEORY MADE FREE $12........WORST POLICYcancelling the membership just because of this so called money making system

OTF Avery Ranch isn't your ordinary gym...it's a community with trainers and members who care about you and it really is more fun to sweat with friends. I am not disciplined enough to work out by myself, so I love the coaching - I don't have to think about anything, just follow the trainer's instructions and it's an amazing workout. The balance between cardio and strength/weights really works and there is plenty of variety, so you won't get bored. And having the heart rate/calorie/splat point carrot is a huge driver. Definitely give it a try...the first one is free. :)

The classes have changed so much with Covid.. the overall attitude is not positive for me so I stopped go for a while it was bringing me down.. I am going to try 1 more month joined in 2014 when they opened in Avery rAnch. Its convenient to my home in Avery Ranch but having to force myself to go. I wish there were more friendly staff ! The workouts are good because I do push myself.

The fee structure and the communication is horrible. No proper communication and notifications when taking your account off the hold during this pandemic situation, I understand otherwise but during these tough times I expect more rational behavior than just reading terms off a piece of paper. The staff are poorly trained, they do not have the right information to share with their customers and the customers in the end are the losers eventually with money withdrawn and refund requests not responded right. I was told the holds on the account would hold good until I reach out to end it due to the pandemic situation but account comes off hold without notification and my card was being charged for 4 months before I realized it and now they aren’t giving me refund citing I didn’t extend the hold after July 2020 - I would have had I not been told by the members of the studio that the holds would be honored until I cancel it. They speak in direct contradiction of their own rules certain times. I would be a 100% sure I would have gotten a notification immediately had my card on file expired and they weren’t receiving the payments. But since they were billing me behind my back without a notification and had the money coming in - never did they bother to check back as to why I haven’t scheduled a single class in those 4 months. The fees is a rip off. The studio doesn’t care about the health concerns regarding the pandemic. All they care is making money. Expected better - very disappointing

Orangetheory in general is a great workout no matter which location. However this is my home studio and I love all the coaches and staff here. They really seem tog get to know every regular and always have the studio in great condition. I highly recommend OTF Avery Ranch.
