24 Hour Fitness in Monterey Park, CA, offers around-the-clock access with a range of fitness equipment and amenities. The gym is situated conveniently in the Atlantic Times Square complex, making it easily accessible for locals. Despite having friendly staff, it has faced significant criticism for poor maintenance and cleanliness, with many machines out of order and restrooms consistently in disrepair.

Some members have noted an overcrowding issue, particularly during peak hours, and a lack of proper air conditioning. Others appreciate the gym's variety of classes and updated water fountains. However, the consensus remains that this location requires substantial improvements to meet the standard expected for the membership fee charged.

  • Friendly and helpful staff.
  • Good variety of classes offered.
  • Updated water fountains.
  • Convenient location in Atlantic Times Square.

Very nice place.good up to date work out equipment. A little difficult to find. The gym is tucked in away in the north east corner of a complex. Not enough signs or site map of complex.

Close to fwy, tons of parking in structure around 1030. Building itself a little outdated, but clean and airy. Not a workout expert (yet), but treadmill clean and smooth. Definitely adding this one to my stops.

Staff are friendly. Equipments are nice but swimming pool’s water is too cold and not so clean as compared to LA Fitness, and shower rooms are often without bath liquid.

Do not recommend, there is no reason it should be 90 degrees inside. Can they not afford the electric bill. Also staff aren’t friendly, compared to the Pasadena location or my home location in Fremont.

Place has the temperature and moisture of a sauna, even half full.If you get thirsty because of this, good luck with the disconnected water fountains. Also don't ask for a free drink, because, well because screw you.

Great place to workout. Good coaches and instructors. Unfortunately, they dont keep the club as clean as they should (dust bunnies and hair all over the exercise room) and the air conditioning has been broken ever since the club reopened. Its had to do cardio under these circumstances.

I've been with 24 Hour Fitness for about 7 years now. I'll admit that it hasn't been the greatest experience but they have made some improvements, especially during this time with covid. Machines have often been broken and their seats torn and it takes ages for them to fix get it fixed. I'm not sure if this is a management thing or not because the Arcadia location seems to take better care of their equipment.Still, I'll give credit where it's due. They've added WiFi since I've joined (the Monterey Park location was a cellphone dead zone), added a few extras like kettle bells, and recently improved the squat racks while adding an additional one in. Staff is always friendly too.

Great staff. I wish some of the patrons were better. Some people still don't like to comply with the rules and regulations but at some point I guess they will.

Nov 29 I was charged for personal training sessions past the four I signed up and agreed to! I spoke with my personal trainer within two days and he told he notified corporate the previous week that personal training sessions wouldn't be continuing past four. He said he saw I was charged and flagged it to corporate and I should hopefully receive my refund soon. I received no email or communication from corporate within the week so I followed up again with the gym staff. I talked to the person at the front and explained I had been charged $340 for a service I was not using and I had only signed up for a total of 4 sessions. I asked if there is a number I can reach corporate and she said no but that she would send an email. It is now mid December and we're 10 days away from Xmas and guess who I still haven't heard from about the $340 I've been robbed. Corporate. Why has it been over two weeks and I have received 0 communication regarding this issue? I even tried filing for support via the app and got sent a different form to full out to reach a different support. Why is it so difficult to reach corporate? Where are your phone numbers listed? Talking to my gym staff hasn't been helpful. This kind of situation makes me not want to renew my membership and terminate my current membership early.Corporate please contact me ASAP.An unhappy customer
