24 Hour Fitness in Monterey Park, CA, offers around-the-clock access with a range of fitness equipment and amenities. The gym is situated conveniently in the Atlantic Times Square complex, making it easily accessible for locals. Despite having friendly staff, it has faced significant criticism for poor maintenance and cleanliness, with many machines out of order and restrooms consistently in disrepair.

Some members have noted an overcrowding issue, particularly during peak hours, and a lack of proper air conditioning. Others appreciate the gym's variety of classes and updated water fountains. However, the consensus remains that this location requires substantial improvements to meet the standard expected for the membership fee charged.

Let me start by saying most if not all 24hourfitness are similar. They have dirty restrooms and smell pretty bad. That aside this gym is great. Although the trainers are garbage I do recommend this location for self training.

Showers/locker room area is ALWAYS filthy. Seldom any shampoo/soap in dispenser (many dispensers are broken). Equipment is fine for a recreational user like myself. Gym space is good and clean.

Everyone one here is very friendly. You can find a machine to workout in quick. The place is clean and neat. I do wish they had more free weights. The steam room is open 24 hours not like Downey.

Not the best environment to work out but it gets the job done. Bathrooms are not clean, equipment is not repaired in a timely manner, and the set up of the gym makes it a bit cramped. However, they have all the equipment and amenities you need in a gym. Gym etiquette is not followed here so make sure to bring a gym towel and stake your claim at the squat rack. The gym regulars are mostly nice once you get to know them but rush hour 5-8pm can be a tough time to get your work in because we're all there at the same time(as is true at most gyms). Overall, I think closer attention to detail and more efficient systems could make this a five star place but as is, it is a 3.

It's a pretty well equipped gym. Some of the equipment is outdated but hey if you know what you're doing you'll be good with what they have available.It's cold af tho;

Small footprint for a "Sports" level club. Limited weight benches. Low ceiling on second level makes space feel claustrophobic. And the locker room/restrooms are filthy too.

While this is my go to gym, it really is just okay. I like the staff, they are friendly, but quite a few of the machines are broken, and I've had to leave a couple times because it got too darn hot in there! Also... some of the patrons are a little weird... haha

This is definitely the dirtiest gym I have ever seen. I never write a review but after coming to this gym I felt I had to. Also, a lot of the equipment is broken down which is a huge inconvinience when the gym is crowded.

Place is nice and kinda empty between 1 and 3 am. The lockers are kept somewhat clean but the stalls are something else. Overall, not bad.

Just got back into the gym after a long time, changed my clothes and started stretching. Within 2 minutes all the lights went out and everybody was evacuated due to a power outage. No towels, broken sauna, broken cardio machines etc. Currently looking into other gyms
