Successfully completing the 6 week challenge at the Flow Shala was a great motivator to start making real lifestyle changes. The teachers are incredibly strong knowledgeable women. They are very passionate about helping you meet your goals to live your best life. Going to a studio was very new to me as I was always too intimidated by my lack of yoga knowledge, but I ALWAYS felt welcome and encouraged by the staff and fellow community members at Flow Shala. And I felt supported during every class by the teacher. It is hard to put into words the level of body mechanic knowledge these women share with everyone during each class! The studio has a great vibe although at times I felt cramped while trying to workout (I have not been in the new space which sounds more spacious.)I would recommend the 6 Week Challenge to anyone who truly wants to feel a change in their body and mind because if you are ready to commit your time, energy and heart then you will be successful.

I just spent 6 weeks working out at Flow Shala and my experience was 100% positive. The staff is incredible; friendly, knowledgeable, super helpful, and able to accomodate people at every fitness level. I am really proud of myself for what I have accomplished so far with their help. I'm stronger, leaner, and so much more mindful of my body's movements and mechanics. Best of all, I'm more disciplined and equipped with sound teaching and solid tools to continue meeting my goals with success.

I would highly recommend the 6 week challenge at Flow Shala. I got exactly what I wanted out of it!The instructors were amazing and very inspiring! Due to my work schedule I mostly took classes with Megan & Charleen. I always walked away from class with increased knowledge of how to properly move my body and avoid injury.I especially enjoyed the Steel Mace classes. At first I was hesitant and little afraid of the mace, but the instructors broke down all the moves and I never felt like I was going to hurt myself or my neighbors. The nutrition portion of the challenge was the hardest part for me, but I learned a lot about what my body needed versus wanted. Additionally, I was able to treat it as an elimination diet to discover what foods were triggers for me and in the end I had many positive takeaways. My one goal in going into the challenge was to be able to get back into running. I went into the challenge recently recovered from an adductor injury and was unable to run for 4 months prior to my first Flow Shala class. This injury at first made me cautious in class, but the instructors always gave me modifications and half-way through the challenge I no longer had to modify and felt my legs getting stronger. I am happy to report that one week after completing the challenge I have already run 4 times with no pain and the best part is I feel stronger and my body is more balanced.I now truly understand the necessity of cross training and I look forward to taking more classes at Flow Shala to support my running and overall health.I did have some communication issues during the challenge due to an incorrect email, but the Flow Shala staff handled it well and it did not affect the outcome of the challenge for me.

If you’re needing a change in you’re workout routine I would highly recommend giving Flow Shala a try. The instructors are very knowledgeable and proficient in the skills needed to help you become a stronger person both physically and mentally. They offer a variety of different types of classes and all classes can be modified from novice to advanced levels. I’ve enjoyed getting a chance to work with RAD mobility tools, Clubbells, blocks, steel mace, and bands. I’m nearing the end of my 6 week challenge and feel glad that I took it on. I would highly recommend Flow Shala.

I was in need of motivation for real change. The Flow Shala team was there to guide me in both mind and body. The meditation, journaling prompts, and recipes helped make the transition towards better health much easier. The studio is beautiful. The new space upstairs is open with inspiring views. The yoga classes are varied and fun! But the staff makes it awesome. Each teacher has an immeasurable amount of knowledge in body mechanics and modifications for injuries as well as pushing your practice further. My only regret is not trying steel mace sooner. Many thanks Flow Shala!

I got connected with Flow Shala through a friend who participated in their 6 Week Transformation Challenge and had great results. I have always been an active, health-conscious person, but I was looking to take my health and fitness to the next level with more structure, concrete goals and accountability. I found all of that and more at Flow Shala! I participated in the challenge and dropped almost 10 lbs and over 7% body fat. The best part about this journey is that the practice and nutrition guidelines are completely sustainable. I look forward to continuing to train in the studio and utilize the tools and knowledge I have gained to stay fit and healthy! I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a challenging yet sustainable health and fitness transformation.

I started at Flow Shala to get stronger and it has been, by far my favorite way EVER to work out. Classes are fun and challenging, but every movement is deliberate: instructors are great at fine-tuning the mechanics, so you’re constantly being challenged and improving. I saw a difference in my posture, my endurance, my shape (whoohoo!) and most significantly, after a few weeks, my back pain and migraines of three years had cleared up.I did a 6-week challenge and at the end, I’ve never felt stronger or more confident.

I originally got into contact with Summer Huntington through Murry Chiropractic in Bellingham for scoliosis, which limited my range of motion, and for injuries in my wrists and shoulders from playing flute as a collegiate music student and emerging professional musician. Summer and Megan Percy worked with me to create a program that was specific to my body and that adapted to my needs. Classes offered through Flow Shala, like Clubbell Yoga, have built the strength I needed in my thoracic spine, shoulders, and wrists. I am now able to play flute for longer periods of time, have a greater range of motion in my body, and I feel fantastic! I have gone to the chiropractor and physical therapist for years, but Clubbell Yoga provided the missing link I needed to build muscle and heal my body!

So many things set this studio apart from all the others: its teachers, its classes and its gorgeous atmosphere. The teachers share their knowledge, illustrate it in flow, push the students to their edge with sincere coaching and kindness. The physical, mental and energetic aspects of yoga and flow are utilized in balance leaving the students reinvigorated, nourished and stronger. Steel mace and self myofascial release (RAD mobility) classes make this studio unique and cutting edge. The team behind Flow Shala have created something Bellingham is going to fall deeply in love with!
