We love having a Planet Fitness membership for when we travel. The Bend location was very nice and was definitely one of the busiest gyms we've been to in a long time! And at random times like 1-2pm. (I think our hometown is saturated with gym options, so maybe Bend doesn't have the same situation.) Either way, it's great to see so many people working out.

Rude from the moment I walked in. Rushed and unpleasant when I wanted to ask questions. Finally when I asked if I could walk around she got irritated and said no. I said you know what it’s been very unpleasant then entire time I’ve been here and she laghed and said really loud sorry we’re understaffed. Been with 24 hour fitness for years thought I’d try PT I’ll never tray it again.

this gym is wack. the ideals actually get in the way of a functional gym. there are literally 75 treadmills but i’ve never seen more than 10 people on them (see picture. taken at 8:00pm on a wednesday). because they are trying to cater to everyone the areas that people actually use (weights / stretching / machines) are always packed (see next picture) literally always. there is no open space. most the staff are chill but some of them are v aggressive. not to mention their mask policy is makes zero sense.

I have continued to pay my membership dues, even though I havent used the facility for a year due to covid. They now want to charge an annual fee and said if I want to cancel I need to send a paper letter, an actual piece of paper as it is …

Just cancelled my membership. I was working out on the treadmill in a mask, nobody else within 15 feet. Had trouble breathing so I had my mask just below my nose. The trainer approached me and asked that I wear my mask over my nose. I got off the treadmill, wiped down the machine and cancelled my membership. The enforcement of Covid policies is inconsistent at this location and my only option is to live with it or cancel my membership. There are other gyms.

The staff at the Bend PF are fiendly, thorough, and professional. They keep the gym disinfected and spotless. Social distancing, during my visits, was never a problem. Masks are required as are covid questions for every visit. Huge ceiling fans and powerful A/C keep the air moving. This is a place that is working hard to keep itsclients safe and happy with every visit. There are no guarantees but PF, in my opinion, makes working out as safe and pleasant as can reasonably be.

Of all things to ruin my 30 min workout because they closed at 7pm and I'm not from this area....it had to be a staff member who confronted my fiance for no reason besides a mask being down. Yes people think about covid differently but when a member says let me go workout and a staff comes to us 10 mins in to vent or rant! Its utter harassment. As a employee of a planet fitness myself I've never seen such unprofessionalism from a sensitive staff. He should've cooled off elsewhere and left us alone. If a member has a mask down, just warn him. If there's a camera in the cable room just have the manager look at where the staff comes to us. Weights were not being slammed nor were we causing any issues. We were discussing our quick workout and that's it. Thanks for ruining our workout. It's not your job to be sensitive about differences in politics. You just say ok and have a good day.

In my experience this business is shady and cares about one thing only, squeezing every cent out of their customers. I joined before covid hit and used the gym probably 10 times before I felt uncomfortable being there due to the pandemic. I tried to cancel the account but would have to pay a ridiculous amount to do that so I asked for them to freeze my account during covid. "Sorry we can only do that for 90 days at a time." Of course in between each hold I'm charged again and again. I try calling after again to cancel after finding another 50 dollar charge. "Sorry, you have to come in and sign to do that." I go in person and now they tell me I have to pay a buy out fee of 58 bucks. It's my fault for not reading all their fine print but they've made it abundantly clear that they have no interest in relaxing their rules to help people who are already financially squeezed during a horrible pandemic.

An ok gym but an absolute terrible cancelation policy, got my membership while traveling and when I got home I called to cancel it and they told me " that I need to go to one close by and will be able to cancel at that one" so I took the hour drive last week to the closest planet fitness to go cancel it to get there and was told I have to call my "home gym" and have them move it over so I called the bend planet fitness and was told that in 48 hours I'd be able to cancel my membership at the gym an hour away. Anyways I get a call this morning and answer it it's the one an hour away calling to let me know they still can't find me in there system so I call the bend planet fitness and they now let me know that apparently there's a 3 month waiting period before you can switch gyms. I feel as though I've been running back and forth with misinformation so that they can get another months worth of memberships out of me. This company is impossible to deal with and keeps giving me incorrect information when all I'm looking to do is cancel my membership that I was told I'd be able to cancel at anytime when getting
