Can't open on time, and can't seem to stay open. Surprising for a "24 hour gym". Also can't communicate hours in advance, you continually have to show up to find out that, once again, they are CLOSED.The hours posted in Google are also incorrect. Presently M-F are 5am 12am, not 24 hours. This was also not communicated outside of a sign on the door. Today, 2 dozen customers were waiting around at approximately 7:40am, this is a common occurrence.

When we first started going to Planet Fitness we thought it was the best gym around, but now I am not so sure. The equipment is in decline (torn padded seats, slow repair of broken equipment, etc.) and now no paper towels in the restroom for a long time. They claim they are going paperless due to the environment, but are using air driers that get the electricity from gas and coal-fired plants. People don't want to wait for a dryer to become available and therefore don't wash their hands at all. A paper towel dispenser on the wall of the locker room would be an excellent addition. Used paper towels can be recycled to minimize the effect on the environment. What is next--no toilet paper?

Clean place, nice staff. I have the black card membership because I’m traveling in a van. Planet fitness affords me a long hot shower usually in a very clean and comfortable location

Called to speak to a manager about a billing issue just before 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17th.The employee who answered the phone informed me there was no manager available that moment and asked me to explain what was going on.I began to explain, and the employee cut me off mid-sentence. I asserted that I did not appreciate being interrupted, and that I would like to be connected to her manager, at which point she said there was no manager on site. She then demanded my phone number in a manner that I felt was quite rude. I began speaking again, saying “I will come down there in person to handle this, when-“And the employee hung up. I got in the car immediately, drove to the location, and cancelled my membership.

Cheapest option in town, so that's always a plus! Very clean. I've never seen it too busy, but I've heard early mornings can be pretty crowded. The lockers have combos, so you don't need to worry about bringing a lock. The massage chairs and tanning beds are definitely worth the extra $10

The music is way too loud considering 95% of people wear headphones and prefer their own music. The music they play is AWFUL and blaring throughout the gym. Someone responded to my original post about this telling me to ask staff to turn the music down. The 3 times I have done this I was told they are not capable of turning it down and that a manager has to do this? At one point I spoke to a manager who was very snotty and told me to “deal with it”. Why not have a station people can tune into if they please rather than forcing the entire gym to listen to teenage pop rock? I feel like a health gym should be concerned about the health of their members hearing and overall well-being.

I have been coming to this gym about 10 times a month for the past 4 months.The Gym - cleanlinessThis gym is pretty clean! It is not spotless, but very clean. I have seen staff cleaning the gym equipment during many different times of day, and the women’s bathroom is always clean. Toilets and showers are not gross, which is one of my main concerns for a gym. Very few paper towels left around on floors and on equipment.The gym - the membersI have seen people of all ages and body types work out here. So far, I have not witnessed anyone be rude or pushy to other members. People do a good job of sharing equipment and not monopolizing machines. Many people also wipe down their equipment after using it.The EquipmentThe free weights area is smaller, so if you are looking for a free weights type of gym, or a group exercise culture, I would recommend a different gym than PF. Note, a smaller free weights area is pretty standard for PFs (I have been to 6 locations over the years), the % of machines or equipment they have in each area is not up to the individual gym, it comes from PF corporate.I have only seen 1 or 2 pieces of equipment with “out of order” signs on them since joining 4 months ago and those were fixed within a week. 1 sink was out of order as well, that was also fixed within a week. A couple of the pieces of equipment could have pads replaced soon, but they are not so worn yet where they are gross/unusable. I have seen members and staff cleaning equipment and putting equipment back on racks. Weights are not left lying around, which is awesome.The StaffI have interacted with several front desk staff, all of whom have been friendly and helpful during the 6 longer interactions I have had. I had a great sign up experience where the lady who was working the de asked me if I wanted to walk around the gym with her or by myself to explore, and even offered to let me work out that day for free to try it out. After I was done, she quickly and efficiently helped me sign up.The location:Plenty of parking spots regardless of the time of day and street parking as well. If you have a large truck or van, there are bigger spots.How busy is it?Like most gyms, if you come at peak hours, it is hard to get into the smaller free weights area because they don’t have as many benches. You may also have to wait 3-5 minutes for machines when it is super busy. The cardio equipment has always had several pieces free when I have been there, even at the busiest times. So if you are a cardio person, you will be fine here at most, if not all times of day.Planet fitness in general:The black membership changes slightly in price depending on what deal is currently running from corporate, but you typically will see between $24-$30 per month for a membership. Annual dues are $35 for me. The Black membership is nice because you can bring guests every time and it can be the same guest over and over again! Plus you can go to all PFs all around the country, which is nice for traveling.If you are a person who wants more free weights and more of a group lifting culture, look for other gyms besides PF (That is not what they are known for from my experience/what I have seen). If you can go during off hours (not right before and after work) and want to lift a lot, then there should be free weights open :)Other things that other reviews complained about were the lack of paper towels in bathrooms, how the gym is laid out, % of equipment they do/don’t have. These are all corporate PF policies, which this PF has to follow-just like other PF locations. If you are wanting a more luxury experience, other gyms that cost more or athletic clubs with more amenities may be your answer.Several negative reviews on here, which has not been my experience. This is why I addressed a number of topics. Hopefully this will help others!

This gym is great! All the staff works so hard and is so friendly! I really love going here. Just wish they had a larger free weight section, it's near impossible to get a workout in during busier hours. Other than that great job!

Great, roomy, quiet, clean(AF), diverse and good hospitality(from staff)..... (Cons) I ran into was that some of the other gym members would glare at me if I touched anything over 315 like I assaulted them?? Which is pretty simple to do on a Smith machine. I also seen a guy literally argue and leave his girlfriend there. And nobody really seems to take physical fitness serious? A guy here and a guy there. But for the most part it's definitely not an environment that's promoting success. But then again, planet fitness is huge so what do I know.But the facility was great and the staff was amazing! Only issue was the gym members for me!

Staff is great. People are great. Gym is clean. It's not the planet fitness you see in the ads it's like the classic 1980's gold gym happy friendly people. Tanning and a lot of people looking to get in the best shape they are looking for. No judgement for being new, no judgement for being shredded. It's actual equality in this location.
