Definitely one of the better planet fitness gyms I've been too. Good atmosphere, however, the weights and core work out options are very limited I often see people circling one ab machine, free form area, or free weights in general. But if you wanna work your arms and legs eat your heart out lol fantastic for that. Oh and as always a nice spa.

Planet fitness is clean and bright to get you energized for your workout, however please do not believe the “only $10 a month” sell. It is true they will take $10 out a month plus additional charges! My husband and I have been with them for less than 2 months and we’ve paid a total of $96.88…go with them if you have a lot of money to spend

10/29/2020Bend Planet Fitness,I have been a member for 1 year. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I have not been able to workout at your facility since March. I called to request a refund for $10.00 that was charged while people were advised by our Governor not to congregate indoors. I was told that I was unlucky to have been charged but that the gym was open and I could use it even though there was a statewide order to stay at home unless it was essential. At the end of the phone call he asked me if I wanted to freeze my account. I said sure so that I don’t have to pay the start up fee again.I really enjoyed working out at your facility, but this year has been a challenge for everyone. People are losing jobs, businesses are going under, and people are scared. I am coming close to having the freeze on my account lifted. I called this morning and spoke to someone about canceling my account. She told me that I could not do it over the phone and that I must either come in or send a letter in the mail with a signature. I feel that your company is being unreasonable to ask that people go to a public facility during a pandemic. On top of a pandemic, my husband has been diagnosed with cancer and has a weakened immune system. Our doctor has told us to avoid public spaces because even bringing home a cold could risk my husband’s life so coming in a speaking with you in person is not an option. In regards to a written letter, how do I know if you have received it or if you are going to charge me again and tell me that you never saw any letter? I would equally like a record of you having received it so that I do not get charged for the third time without ever stepping foot in your gym.I work in business administration and have run hotels with similar policies. I know that an e-mail is a legally binding document and a signature is not required. You are just making it more difficult for people to quit your gym so that you can hopefully get some more payments out of them. That is disgraceful.I will be putting this letter in the mail today 10/29/2020 and posting it as a review.I hope that you realize that these types of behaviors do not make your once loyal customers ever want to come back to your businesses once the pandemic is over. I will pay more somewhere else in hopes of receiving better customer service.

I am on a 3,000 mile motorcycle trip to spread my fathers ashes. I keep this membership only because it’s helpful for when I travel. I stopped in Bend,Oregon which was extremely out of my way to make it to this gym. They wouldn’t let me workout because I have motorcycle boots. I have all proper attire outside of the boots. I have nowhere on my bike to store additional shoes so my only option was to leave my boots and ride in socks to a shoe store and purchase shoes then return to the gym to workout then throw them away. Luckily a corporate manager was on hand but she refused to let me use the gym even in socks or any other attire. The best part was I then went to cancel my account for a gym I hadn’t been to in half a year(I keep it only for travel) and I was told I would need to fly to Salt Lake City Utah to cancel. I live in Houston, TX. There is no method of canceling by phone or internet even though that’s how I joined. So I paid for half a year of a membership for the convenience of having gym options when I traveled to be denied access to the gym. I was perfectly reasonable and friendly throughout the entire ordeal but their treatment of a member was absolutely out of line. I will now contact my bank to cancel payment since you can’t actually cancel this gym that refused me for no good reason. It’s ridiculous and sad and should of been easily fixed especially with a corporate manager on hand.

The gym itself is okay. I wish there were more free weights but what really sold me on the 5 stars is the staff! The long haired manager is so sweet and kind, and even today i saw a staff member outside talking with a elderly homeless man and he just looked so compassionate for this gentleman. Say what you want about PF but the staff here is top notch!!

It’s a pretty run of the mill planet fitness, decent equipment and everything. However, it seems to be managements ideas here to not let people use the bathrooms for anything beyond showering and washing your hands. So if you’re a roll out of bed, come to the gym to workout, and get ready for work there (like me) this isn’t the gym for you anymore.

Planet Fitness is an awesome company. They have so many great locations. If you travel get a membership. Free massage beds, tanning, unlimited everything. This location is perfect and has very nice team members.Daniel Read IV

It was nice to go back first time since quarantine. The gym was clean and the front desk attendant went over the changes without being asked. Certainly has a reduced capacity, but they are just doing it for safety so understandable. Also don't try cardio with a facemask lol

Easy to join. Almost impossible to quit. “Renewal” charges without notification. Called to stop numerous times. But they can’t do it over the phone. I have to go into the location I joined at. I don’t live in that town anymore.Really should make quitting easier during a pandemic.

Decent gym for working out. Oregon didn’t open the showers for access
