Great gym, has all the equipment you could ever need and with CrossFit only being a bit more per month at the east location it’s hands down the top gym in Bend with the lowest prices.

I highly recommend Xecl. The equipment, staff, and available facilities cannot be beat. I read a couple of bad reviews on their cancellation process, which are simply inaccurate. I had to cancel when I moved. It was literally a minute long phone call. No big deal. If you require excellence, then go to Xcel.

The membership cancellation policy is almost impossible. They send you to a third party who is only available via email and the response time is days. I have been emailing back and forth one sentense for days now and still have not been able to cancel

These people are thieves - cancelled my account on 3 July 2019. They're trying to bill me for the billing cycle ending on 17 August. I don't care what your service agreement says, I haven't stepped foot in the gym after cancelling. Their lecherous corporate goon named "Courtney " followed up harassing emails and calls to "collect" on my "past due" balance. Embarrassing. Steer clear of the place unless you want to be charged for 1.5 billing cycles after you move back to California.

Nice facility with lots of machines and equipment however the staff is rude. The janitor that someone else mentioned spying on them is either on meth or steroids or both. He used to constantly harass me with comments like he was trying to read my thoughts and was just a creepy intrusive individual. I caught him sticking a needle in himself in one of the back rooms one day. I wonder if they got rid of him yet. I also saw one of the front desk staff smoking weed in the parking lot during their shift. I moved to Redmond and the gym became inconvenient for me to go to but Redmond is not far enough away for their cancellation policy (my move was 18 miles away and not their policy 20 miles). I stopped going after only 2-3 months because I became uncomfortable dealing with their staff. Several months later with still 5-6 months left on my 12 month membership I called the manager/owner/whomever to express my frustrations with the gym and he cancelled my contract and black listed me from the club for life.

Was visiting for the weekend. Really nice gym! Lots of equipment, dumbbells go up to 150lbs, plenty of free weights. Staff was nice for my visit, I would totally come back here to workout again. Thanks guys!

Very spacious with a good selection of free weights and machines. Clean gym and locker room. Friendly and helpful staff. Childcare is clean and my daughter enjoys all of the games and art projects.

Just don't go to this gym. heaven forbid something happens and you have to cancel you membership it is impossible they have a complete different company you have to email because they have no direct customer support you can't call the gym directly to cancel so pretty much they make it impossible once your in you will get the run around. And the fact the owners don't care it's not there problem and don't feel there is a problem. especially someone has been trying for almost a year to cancel and has emails to prove it you get frustrated! so save yourself the headache go anywhere but here!

Yo! I have many good things to say about this location. I frequent after work (6ish) and mid-day on the weekends.Staff: 10/10 I was set-up with a new membership with Tanner and Kelli. For all the faces they see they always seem to know everyone by name! That sets up exactly how I feel about this gym. I have never encountered someone working there without a good and positive attitude!The equipment: 10/10 Although not all of it is new everything is well maintained and I am never searching for a specific weight. I frequent the cable machines and free weights. I often see open racks and benches. There are always open cardio machines (Elliptical, treadmills, stair machines). I have yet to see any machine or piece of equipment out of service or in bad shape. I would like to see an AMT.Locker Rooms (women): CLEAN! The bathrooms and locker room area is always clean and well maintained. There are always open lockers and I am never searching for how to store my stuff.Misc: There are TVs in sight of all the cardio machines and they do show sports! (Although randomly -- not sure if this occurs to other people; the food channel is always on which always gives me a little extra motivation because I do workout because I love to cook and ... overeat). I use my earbuds but the music always seems to be a good mix. There is generally good parking; I have yet to park in the overflow.. although here comes the new year new you wave. I don't often talk or chat with the other people working out but everyone seems to be courteous in switching/working-in if needed.

My family and I have been going to Xcel since we moved to Bend in 2015. The reason we chose this gym was for the daycare, it’s so nice to be able to have some “mommy time” and know your kids are in the next room being taken care of, the reason we still choose this gym is for all it has to offer. I love the class options from spinning....total body condoning....and yoga! They have free weights...cardio machine....and so much more. Staff that will greet you the moment you walk in and make you feel like family. I’ve been doing the CrossFit there for a year and the coaches and people have become my family.
