Very dishonest. My wife signed up for a 3 month stint with a personal trainer for our teenage son and asked that we be contacted before they auto charged us for the 4th month, There was no contact like we were promised and we were auto-charged. When we tried to get a refund for the services THAY HAVE NOT PROVIDED, they refused. STAY away like the plague. VERY DISHONEST

Multiple machines don’t work properly or don’t work at all. The pool has been closed for “renovation” but no workers are ever there. The locker room is disgusting. Sink is falling out of the counter top, toilets leak and the showers are another level of gross. The employees sit around and talk to each other customers can stand at the counter and they never pay attention always on their phones. The trainers do not appear to have a clue what they are doing. Googling workouts does not qualify you as a trainer is scary to watch. Overall not worth the money they charge.

Sometimes I wonder why I still workout here... Do I subconsciously believe that I don't deserve good things? Am I scared of the confrontation of trying to cancel my membership? Am I too lazy to seek out something new?All I know is that I have complained about this gym for 3 years so much so that everyone I know, knows how I feel. I mean... it's so awful that it's *almost* funny. Here are a few of the highlights:1. Mold.2. Bugs (not just one bug... bugs... with an "s"... lots of bugs) in the shower.3. No air conditioning in the hottest parts of the summer.4. Constantly broken machines.5. The dirtiest floors I've ever seen. (And I used to be a bartender.)6. A pool that has been "broken" for years.7. The jankiest treadmills known to man.8. That one time I asked for a machine tutorial, got roped into a personal trainer, and they gave me the one with a BROKEN ARM who could literally not demonstrate the machines or do any personal training.9. Oh and also, that one time I asked to tan for 10 minutes and the front desk person who has ONE JOB forgot to push the activate button and I had to call the front desk from the tanning bed to remind him that I was in the tanning bed waiting for him to push the button.10. Honestly, the most disgusting ladies bathroom's I've ever seen. Poop. Blood. You name it.11. That one time the fire alarm went off and continued to go off for a ridiculous duration without any explanation from staff.12. Why is it always so humid in the locker room?13. On any given day, you might find that there's no soap or no paper towels in the bathroom. This is especially gross considering my previous comment. See list item number 10.I know that I have nobody to blame but myself. I continue to go here hoping the pool with open up, hoping the treadmills will be upgraded, hoping that I won’t walk into a biohazard zone in the ladies room. Perhaps I am a hopeful fool… or just a lazy, self-loathing person who goes to the gym closest to her house and complains about it to anyone who will listen—including the Google masses.

Management has done an excellent job cleaning up the place! The dance/group class room is a great space and the free weights area is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend this gym. Staff is amazing!

I called to make sure the sauna and hot tub were working. When I got there the hot tub jets were not working and it was like bath water. Next I tried the sauna but it was turned off. I have belonged to this place long before it was Crunch and very seldom was something not working. We have new owners again, how is it possible none of them can figure out how to run a gym?

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! The manager at this gym is so extremely nice and personable. I had issues with my account that a manager at another Crunch gym refused to help me with and I got off the phone so upset. Called Crunch- Boise Black Eagle and the manager helped me immediately with no questions asked. I will continue going to this gym for as long as I am in Boise!

Definitely worth the price of membership. Been a member here for a few months now and it's really never overcrowded, they keep the place clean and the machines and weights aren't very old. It's definitely not a top of the line gym but they don't pretend to be either. The place isn't a dump which is always a plus for a gym.

As far as a workout place it is what you would expect for equipment and nice to have a pool and sauna. However their billing sucks! Had multiple problems including not being removed from auto renewal. They admitted the error but wouldnt credit me back, only offered to give me discounts and credits for future services. Had to report it to my credit card to dispute it. :(

I'm very upset the gym managers are non-responsive to my cancellation emails. I have been trying since December 2021 to let them know I would like to cancel in April 2022. When you speak to the gym staff, they tell you to email their corporate to cancel. I have written them four times with no luck and spoke to the gym itself. I have not had this issue in the past; I wonder if management changed hands. This is really unprofessional!

The Gym Itself is nice Clean and maintained. Felt like it lacked atmosphere was just to quiet. If you like a gym that’s not always packed this is a good one
