I Loved this planet fitness because it was nice and big. The only thing they need is some workout classes. they have a fitness trainer but no Zumba classes.

This is an edit of an earlier review in which I lamented a decline in upkeep. I am happy to say that the gym has improved again and is cleaner and in generally good repair. The staff is also very friendly. My one remaining complaint is that they only allow for 10 minutes time on a massage chair. The massage chair is the only perc I use, so it would be nice nice to have a little longer.

I love how I can go in there and do my thing. Everyone is respectful. I will enjoy using my black card there.

It's okay.Pros:- lots of cardio machine- friendly staffCons:- Not very clean- Difficult to find weights during peak time- Difficult to find parking during peak time- Can find dust on all the machines- they over charged me and it's almost two months I am waiting for my refund

See insincere message from owners below this review. Clean, polite, helpful staff. But whoever owns this franchise doesn't give a hoot. Equipment broken for 8 months, cold water in the vanities since I started there and they've never fixed it. Some of the equipment is unsanitary because they have not fixed worn out pads that have been like that for months. If you want equipment that works consistently even though the employees try, I suggest joining another franchise. I hear the franchise that is opening in roslindale owns this one so beware. Why do I still belong here? Close to home and saves time otherwise I'd go back to the one in DOT and happily give them them my money. You can tell the owners care.

Don’t join this Gym.You wont be able to find machine or dumbbells when you want. You have to work with what ever is left..I don’t understand one thing.. i can understand if i wont be able to find machines,But , Dumbbells?? Really??This planet fitness cannot put some extra dumbbell.I made a mistake joining here. You guys don’t do it.

It's one of my top 3 places top 2 now. Because of convenience an Mondays-thursday it runs 24 hours then weekend it closes a bit early (not a bad trade off) they've updated their equipmentIt even counts reps an times break for most machines.Tho location isn't as large as some it has parking area an everything is literally kept clean even at busiest times. I like the environment in general an how it's maintained.

The staff was amazing! Patient, informative and knowledgeable! It's been years since going to Planet Fitness and they patienly helped me through the process! I look forward to returning and enjoying their full body hydro massage and full body toning! It is a quiet location with plenty clean equipment ready to put to work! You'll enjoy the experience!

I came into this location today about 5pm for inquiry/details about membership information. The guy who assisted me was unpleasant appearing not wanting to be bothered during the questions and rushed quick tour.I have not enrolled in a gym in several years. But the visit I had with this location was very unpleasant. I honestly rate this a very poor customer service locationVery Disappointed 😞

Although I've been a black card member for some time I often wonder what the difference is in perks that I would get at this location as opposed to just having a $10 membership.Yet, having said that, I have noticed that a lot of people are complaining about dust on the machines. Though it is not the memberships responsibility to clean the bathrooms, I was always under the impression that you're supposed to clean the machine after you use it.Therefore, the responsibility of keeping the machines clean it's not just that of the staff but the memberships as well. Has JP become so bourgeois that they won't even wipe down the machines after they use them. I thought that was standard.As for customer service, I have never gotten anything but excellent service over the phone and though the people that work in night shift may seem nonplussed about their job it's hard to get excited about a job that probably doesn't pay too well at 3:00 in the morning sitting there alone. Of course, that is no excuse for rude behavior but I have not encountered that thus far. In my experience, people in customer service that are rude generally don't last too long and I credit the ownership with responding to all of the negative commentary with a positive outlook and response.I have waited a long time to have a planet fitness show up in my neighborhood and I'm happy it's here and the hours that it keeps. So I say, let's be grateful that it is here and does not cost an arm and a leg to attend. The glass is more than half full my friends.Sincerely,Sean K.
