Place is always extremely clean which is awesome. But the lack of a real bench/squat rack kind of sucks. They have a good variety of machines and decent amount of dumbells. The best and worst thing about this place is the price. It's good for a avid person that goes to the gym but sucks because this place thrives off of the new year new me people that swamp the gym making it almost impossible to do your routine.

Very nice, clean facility. The workers are kind and make connections with you as a customer. The locker rooms and showers are PRISTINE! There’s zero odor in the air and it is a pleasant atmosphere. The prices are good ($23 per month for the tanning and free training black card upgrade).

This place is terrible if you actually want to do something at the gym and not just use cardio machines which are useless. You can burn more calories by doing 50 burpees if that's your goal. And they are very judging of ppl trying to to get big and stronger. They even have a sign that calls out ppl that wear tank tops make grunting noises and use a big water bottle. They also don't have heavy weights. Their heaviest ez bars and dumbells are 60 pounds. Like what are you supposed to do with that. If u want a real gym like powerhouse which is not even 5 mins away off dressler. It has a much better vibe. Yeah there some douches but most ppl are cool and they have way better equipment way more stuff including a sauna and smoothie bar and has the vibe of what a gym is meant for. Going hard at the gym

Terrible. The worst pf i've ever been to. Bathrooms were nasty and dirty. Very poor lighting. Very unclean facility. None of the machines had spray bottles or towels to wipe them down with. All the machines were greasy, like they've never been cleaned. I would not recommend this pf to anyone. The akron and tallmadge location are excellent locations with great staff.

Gym is okay for what it is... Not enough free weights, stops at 60lbs and need more duplicates with space. Wish the whole wall had mirrors so you could check form while doing cables or smith machine. Need more smith machines, need some more diverse machines. Planet fitness advertises as a 24 hour gym except for 3 days out of the week? What gives? Also don't like how I joined in august paid my member start up fee then every September you pay your member fee so in one months time I paid basically two annual fees of 40 bucks a piece... thanks for hosing me. For Canton being such a large area you'd think they would have a bigger gym and truly be open 24 hours a day. This gym is always packed because there is nothing else in the area, should capitalize on expansion and growing the business with better equipment and hours.

Worst Planet Fitness that I have ever been to! I purchased the black card but wished that I never had. I relocated and this is the most disgusting by far! Their tanning beds are nasty and you can't even get a tan. They are 10 minutes tanning beds but you couldn't go 20 and acquire a tan with those nasty tanning beds. I had to clean every time I went into one. These need to be maintenanced. Meaning they need broken down and cleaned from the inside as well! Waste of my time! The staffing are friendly but I am not impressed with this facility! I started my membership in December, 2017 and they already charge me for a $40 annual fee in February, 2018. Don't believe the hype of the black card membership because it is a joke! If you're going there to just workout then do so, but don't purchase the black card! They have hidden fees and I will not renew my membership there for black card!! I am hoping that eventually, there will be some competition for Planet Fitness in the near future. Disgruntled customer here! Be careful using their spray bottles because every time I use one, I end up with some kind of funk on my hands so I do not touch the spray bottles. I bring my own disinfectant wipes in for use..

This is a great and reasonably priced place to join. It is a very "Come as you are" type feeling. If your a beginner or have been going to the gym all your life, this is the place for you!

Staff is friendly and helpful. However, compared to other planet fitness that I've been too, not as good of selection of available exercises. Specifically, no kettle bells, not enough dumbell space, not enough smith machines as you always have to wait to use.

Coming here for 2 years now. . I left my 250$ headphones in tanning bed .i walked to the locker room then came back to grab my headphones, no one else has used bed . the staff that cleaned my bed stole my headphones plain as day.this place has gone down hill no management no structure new day shift employees are shady. WATCH YOUR STUFF AT THIS PLACE.i would recommend not using this establishment.

Good luck trying to cancel your membership and automatic withdraw. Been going rounds with them for the past three months. This is part of their process, they tell you they will cancel the membership, but they never do because they withdraw from your account, yes even after the 30 days required advanced notice. They make you go back in again to show proof that you cancelled, so don't lose that pink confirmation slip! They tell you that reimbursement will show up in a week, but it never does. Will never get into a contract with them again. It's worth the extra money to go somewhere that's a better 'fit'.
