Ive been a member since it opened up and its gone down hill. There are too many broken machines that seem to never get repaired. The bathrooms are always disgusting and smell. They should just get rid of the basketball, half court, and add more equipment for people to workout on. We paid for a gym not a rec center.

this gym used to be great , everything is broken now . College kids run the place and it looks like a dirty frat house now . Woman’s sauna been broken for two +months , one stairmaster works , one out of 4. Don’t you dare say they are operating I was there last night . One machine works . One . Pathetic. Get it together amped. Fire your young manager who keeps letting all his friends in with no memberships. Fire the staff at the front that sit around and do nothing !!!! All the other amped locations in Florida are amazing!!! Fort myers should be ashamed. You guys keep saying that things are being worked on , and they are in fact not being worked on. You need new equipment. Simple. Stop being cheap and fix your gym.

I had a problem with the gym in the beginning with all the filming that was taking place. It got much better under the GM Rob, he really cleaned the place up member wise and kept the gym and equipment in great shape.Since Rob left this location this gym has fallen off a cliff. Machines are broken, cables broken, air conditioners are broken or at-least never running, water fountain is broken, Wi-Fi is broken.. you get the picture. This is a broken gym that needs a lot of help to get it operating up to the standards any paying member would expect.Rob would constantly be walking the floor keeping this place in great shape, chasing down people who abusing equipment, and who were leaving weights on the floors and on machines. Though tedious work he stayed on-top of everything and it was clear he was in charge. Now who knows who is in charge. This place is becoming a hazardous disaster.Weights are always left on machines ( for the few machines that are working). Weights are always on the floor. I haven’t seen anyone who works here working on the gym floor since Rob left. They just stand around and look, then go back on there phones. This isn’t acceptable anymore. This place needs new leadership immediately or sell it back to the original owner of around the clock, I’m sure he’s ready to buy it back a second time. He knows how to run a gym properly.

Amped Fitness' slogan should be "The Gym that Doesn't work."-basketball court is advertised on their website as a key amenity, only to find out they are remodeling and no bball court. False advertising.- drinking fountains don't work. A gym that has NO functional drinking fountains is like a public restroom with no toilet paper. Pretty scummy.-Treadmills are dinosaurs. Look like circa 2004-2005. Blah.-This place was much better years ago under different ownership when it was called "Nonstop Fitness"- amenities and necessities all were operational back then.-Only received 2 stars as their front desk staff was polite and courteous. It's not their fault ownership is cheap and won't fix anything. If The Flintstones had a Gym in Bedrock, this would be it. Thumbs way down.

Unfortunately, this gym has really gone down hill over the past 5 months. As the previous reviews state, this place lacks structure and good management. I have been a member since day one and was a member of the previous 2 gyms in this location as well. This is the worst condition I have seen this gym and any gym for that matter. Nearly every machine is either broken or does not function properly. There is no maintenance being done to keep this gym in working order. Also as stated in previous reviews, the A/C system in this gym has been broken for 5+ months. It gets unbearably hot inside and the gym is beginning to smell because of it. Wi-Fi is also very spotty, and 50/50 chance on whether it is working.Overall this gym is a Zero, hence the $10 a month. There are much better gyms in the area that care about giving there members a nice working, clean and cool environment to exercise in. This gym is strictly about getting volume, they want as many members as possible and don’t want any of the responsibility of up keeping the facility.I strongly suggest anyone considering joining this Amped fitness location to join another gym in the area.

I’ve been going to this gym consistently since it opened over a year ago. Since then I have seen a steady decline in quality. There are still malfunctioning machines that I’ve pointed out on opening day. Machines that have broken since still have out of order signs on them. The air conditioning either works poorly or is turned low to save money. As I’m writing this it feels like it’s over 80 degrees and very humid (rust is quickly spreading on several machines). Overall I see this place sliding downhill at an increasing pace. The gym is also full of college aged members which is not bad, but may turn off some. If you have another option I wouldn’t recommend this gym, as someone who has been a self proclaimed gym rat for over a decade.BONUS ROUND: since the gym WiFi is broken and I couldn’t post the review immediately, I’ve had time to think of more issues.-equipment is much too close together. Main through ways are blocked (fire code violation) and it’s difficult to perform some exercises due to the limited space.-staff members are usually too busy talking or on their phone to be helpful. I’ve seen one work out with essentially no shirt on (he had a thin strip of fabric in the front with the whole back cut off) which is against policy.-over several occasions I’ve been interrupted by people filming workouts and flexing in the mirror-the bathrooms are disgusting, and need a complete renovation. They’re the same as before the gym changed ownership.I could go on further but I think you get the point. The owners aren’t willing to invest profit back into the gym to make it the best it can be. It’s cheap, and therefore will do fine, but still not a place I would recommend to people looking to get a quality workout done in a clean and safe environment.

I been a member of this gym since they first opened and the last few months the gym has been falling apart, I don’t know if it has something to do with the management, but when Rob was the general manager everything was working out just fine, now there’s a lot of broken machines that have been broken for the past few months, and still not fixed, I just paid $45 for maintenance, where is my money going? Workers at the front desk are always letting their friends in (friends who don’t have memberships) so if you are looking for a place to have a nice workout this is not the place, Don’t waste ur money!

Machines stay broken for weeks if not months, the basketball court is down, the sauna is down, the water filter is always either red or the fountain is down. The bathrooms are 7/10 times extremely dirty. Suddenly Sundays are now unstaffed. I have several family members who have memberships and we are all looking for another gym.

NEW MEMBERS BEWARE I'm a brand new member and purchased the highest vip membership strictly for the basketball court, women's only space, and sauna (as advertised on website) front desk person let me purchase this vip membership when I stated I wanted to use those amenities specifically only to find out after purchase none of the amenities are available for use! I try to go back to the basic plan and they want me to pay $25 fee (I signed up 2 weeks ago based on amenities)even though they falsely advertised that those specific amenities were available to me. I tried to speak to a GM but he was on "break" and unwilling to speak to me (1:50pm) so now I'm stuck with a plan I'm paying extra for amenities that are not operational or available for use not fair! I will gladly change my review if someone would help me get this worked out but until then NEW MEMBERS BEWARE stick to the basic plan
