Went to amped fitness with a guest and they said no guest allowed after 8 pm. When I signed the contract I was never notified about this rule and never got a email with update rules. I was told I could bring a guest in during staffed hours. Disappointed since I have the VIP membership and have been a member since the first day.

Had trouble with equipment getting stuck/unable to make adjustments and I wasn’t able to use half of what I needed for my workout.Also was stared at and approached by a man who doesn’t work there who wanted to give me advice that I didn’t ask for or appreciate, that was very uncomfortable. Not a good first impression.

I live in Punta Gorda and drive 40 minutes just to go here. There is a bunch of equipment, very friendly staff, and way better prices than other gyms. AND it has a basketball court!

Great Equipment friendly knowledgeable staff. Active gym. Only negative is likely a good thing. It’s difficult to get on equipment bc too busy at peak times.

Maddie and Lindsay in the childcare is absolutely amazing! They are super sweet and my kids are excited to go every single day. They have patience, they are caring and are very knowledgeable when it comes to young ones, which is hard to come by with fitness childcares.

Amazing gym, has everything you could need. Offers a wide variety of services that tailor to your needs. Great location. Only downside is it’s busy af because it’s such a good spot.

The gym staff is absolutely amazing and the kid care is the best I’ve experienced! Maddie is absolutely incredible with the kids. My daughter always asks just to go to hang out there.

Equipment is good for a commercial gym. Keyless access is also very nice. Unfortunately, just like prior gyms in this exact location, they take forever to repair anything. One month later and the water fountain is still out of service. It’s a water fountain… one would figure they would quickly repair such a thing. But no, same with frayed cables etc. it’s not hard to lube up the cable machines and fix the weights so they don’t stick etc. Zero money put into maintaining the actual equipment it seems. Place looks nice and pretty, but it’s about the equipment first and foremost. At least the WiFi works, unlike around the clock prior to this.Overall it’s a “cool looking” gym with lackluster equipment. Much better options, but this location and hours just happen to be convenient.
