Amped Fitness (Fort Myers)

Good gym and equipment, but the heavy bags are always down and take forever to repair.

Overall ok gym but one of the main reasons I became a member was for the basketball court since it wasn’t in my previous gym and it’s been closed for months and staff won’t say why or when will it reopen . I’m just thinking about canceling at this point

4 stair climbers & only 1 has worked for months… I’ve been a member for almost a year & all 4 stair climbers have never worked at the same time! What is taking so long to repair them? This is getting ridiculous

Overall quite a nice gym with a good selection on equipment, but its uncomfortably hot/humid a lot of the time. I’ve been a member for around 3 months and it’s been a reasonable temp maybe 3 total times out of the 3-4 days a week I goI was told at sign up 3 months ago their ac was being fixed as it was noticeably warm when taking a tour of the gym, especially in the basketball court which basically was a 2nd sauna because it was easily 80+ degrees in there when it was open, but now the basketball court has been closed for a month now and the only area that actually is cool is the bathrooms.besides the AC issues, this gym is great and the staff are awesome and would easily give this a 5 star review if it didn’t feel like it’s 80 degrees in there 95% of the time I go

Absolutely fantastic gym. Lil crowded during peak times (4-7pm) but that’s to be expected. Everyone cleans the machines once they finish and everybody is pretty “Amped Up”. Basketball courts have been under construction for some time now but other than that, this place is one of my top gyms!

FALSE ADVERTISING BEWARE! When I asked about BASKETBALL before signing up the guy at the front desk said it was being repaired but after I came in the next day I was told that they’re not even going to fix it and they’re going to put weights in there. I want my money back for the lies and scams!

Sales rep sold college student a VIP membership then swiped his credit card before telling him basketball court shut down, no a/c. Student said, please don’t proceed but sales rep said it’s too late. Student calls later, rep finally acknowledges Florida state law regarding three day cancellation period and tells student he has to come in person in order to cancel. Arrives today, “employee” working days he doesn’t know how to cancel. Complete run around.

No frill gym. Plenty of equipment & parking. Accessible 24 hrs. Friendly staff.

Please build one up in Winston Salem Nc! This is an incredible gym with plenty of options and space and it’s very clean and well organized!!
