Very Clean Gym... Fun Staff.. Positive Vibes.. I Love the Black Card Area!! Thanks for My Planet Fitness Glow!! Semi Rocks!

This is a great gym that has everything. Showers, clean showers, tanning beds, tanning booths, massage chairs, aqua massage chairs, all kind of workout equipment & classes. And tha staff are so helpful & friendly.

A 10 minute hydro massage turned into a 30 minute hassle with a lady named Heather who works here, who honestly has no business being in customer service. In the 30 minutes I was here, she upset 2 other customers, which one eventually walked out after dealing with her. I was patient and understanding after the bed was first acting up and waited my turn in line after waiting 7-8 minutes, She followed me back to the beds, where another lady showed her irritation a lot louder than I did mine about her bed not being turned on and walked out. Heather started her bed and then walked away leaving me standing there. I assumed she was trying to inform her the bed was back on and would come back to help me. She never came back so I walked back up to the counter and she was dealing with another customer who was upset as well by whatever she wasn’t helping her with, so I waited in line again and when my turn I simply said “you never turned my bed on. You just walked away..?” She huffed and climbed over the counter and turned my bed on. Now I’m annoyed because she seems put out by this. After 3 minutes of it being on, it shut off. She was bringing another customer back to the bed next to me, and I told her it just shut off on me. Thinking she would turn it back on, I just stood there waiting for her to finish the girl next to me. She ignored me and walked back to the front so I followed her. She played on the computer for a second and looked over my way just straight up acting like I didn’t exist. By this point I’m ready to walk out and forget it all entirely. She finally makes eye contact with me and just stares at me. I ask if she’s not turning the bed back on and she said no. It’s broke. I’m shutting it down. Not once had she said anything about this when leaving me standing there earlier. I asked about the other bed. She said nope. Broke to. All the while she’s smirking about this which made me honestly think she turned it off on me purposely. I asked if I can just have a massage chair and she said yeah. Scan your information, which I did. She looks at me and said you have to select a time and laughed like I was dumb with customers all around at this point. I asked her why didn’t she say that as well? That there was no sense in acting so rude. She laughed out loud over this. I asked for her name and she said Heather. I have no idea if this is her real name or not but she has blonde-ish hair with a blue strip in the bangs area. I tried calling customer service to report how unprofessional she was about a simple massage but couldn’t find a number so figured I’d just post here so others can see what they’re probably in for at this location. I can only imagine how she is with the other amenities this facility offers.

As a Fitness Center not a real gym ,it was above average when opened a few years ago. Now the equipment is run down & repairs take forever. Original claims were equipment would be replaced every 3 years.

If I could give Less than one star I would. We have been trying to cancel our membership and have been given the run around since our (home gym) is still closed. Today I stoped in while I was in the area and the guy at the counter was completely rude to me and my husband, I was trying to ask him what he would recommend we do and asking if he could just switch our home gym to this location and I was told “does this shirt say manager no so I can’t press any magic button for you.” I also asked if there was a number he could give me to call corporate to see if they could help me I was told “go ahead and try to find one yourself”. I was not being rude to this man but he was very much rude to me and all I’m trying to do is cancel our membership. There has not been a single decent interaction with any staff members at this location

Heather, usually behind the desk, is awesome, so nice. I am a pro bodybuilder, so planet fitness isn't really my scene, but I use it frequently for tanning and cardio. Occasionally i will do an arms workout. I like that it is nice and cool and breezy in there with the big fans, makes cardio more bearable. The tanning- I use the standups only (can't stand laying in what feels like a coffin), and one of the 2 stand-ups has had 8 bulbs out for months now, the other has 2 out, and half the time, one or the other isn't working at all. I understand the hurricane made the rooms un-usable for awhile, but thats over now, and that has nothing to do with the bulbs being out for this long.The gym equipment is well taken care of, so that's good. But fix your tanning situation please.

I came in to work out and all I see is 1 person working and helping customers. Semi is the guy at the counter that I see. Every Sunday I come in to the gym with my husband and see semi. Last weekend when semi was on lunch a girl named hope was sitting in the the black cart just being on her phone and she didn't want to help anyone she just wanted to sit in the black cart and be on her phone. When my husband was done working out he goes on the hydro bed. When he asked her to check him in for the hydro bed it was like my husband was bothering her from being on her phone. Thank God for semi when he came back from lunch he helped my husband and she just went back in the black cart. That guy is awesome and deserves a raise or something.

Friendly morning staff. Plenty of cardio machines. Before joining I saw the video of a guest using a rowing machine. However, I was disappointed to only see one and it was out of order. Locker rooms are hit and miss in the cleanliness department. I don't understand why I am not emailed a receipt when dues are paid (work reimbursement). When I signed up I made a dollar donation to Boys and Girls club and received an emailed receipt from Planet Fitness immediately. So, they must have the system in place to send receipts, they just choose not to.

The new manager of the North Fort Myers planet fitness is constantly sent girls into the bathroom about 3:00 during the busiest time one of the busiest times. She sends staffing there to clean every time I go in there. And today he took a pair of my work pants with my medical marijuana. He said he announced himself and he did not there was only two people in the showers and they were going and you could tell and there's no reason for him to go in the changing room while I was in the shower. He then took a pair of my pants that I took off from work with my weed in it nobody said anything until I called the cops. He said he had announced himself and that he was giving me my pants back after I called the cops walk back in with the phone calling the sheriff's. The manager took up for him. And told me to leave when I wasn't even being hysterical and he offered to hand me back the pants after I done called the sheriff's none of this would have happened if you would have never went into the shower area why people were in there

I would give a zero! I have been a member of planet fitness for almost 5 years I travel all over the US for work so I've been to my share of planet fitness and this one is by far the worst! This is my second time at this location and I will not return, the girl at the desk is rude and lazy, my first time here I wanted to tan, the bed given was number 4 which has at least 6 bulbs out and stinks, so this time I asked for a different bed, she said number 4 is all they have which is a lie! I seen 2 other beds and 2 booths so instead of offering another bed or booth to accommodate me she literally sent me to the same bed and lied about the others I'm beyond disappointed and you guys(planet fitness)can spare me the "oh I'm so sorry to hear this" bulls*it cause if you were you would have a much better staff!
