We are newbies at climbing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our kids really enjoyed it. Our family had a great time.

It was great fun as well as a good body work out. Friendly staff and other patrons made it even better. It is a little expensive though at $20+ for a day pass

Great climbing gym, friendly staff. Lots of routes with varied terrain and difficulty. Good bouldering. Fitness area is small. Good pandemic protocols in place with mandatory masks and occupancy limits. Occasionally get a nice surprise treat like coffee or s'mores.

My 8 and 6 year old have been asking to try out rock climbing. They had no experience but we were climbing within 20mins of us arriving. We had a great time and will be back.

We are long members of TRC running on 6+ years now. Friendly staff. New routes almost every week. Clean facilities and great event and programs. Only complaint is they still mandate a mask when every other business in the surrounding areas have lifted it. It’s very taxing to climb or work out with a mask on. They lifted it for many months last year. I wish they would do so again.

Like the gym and pretty much all the staff, but the routes need to be refreshed much more frequently. It is now May '22, and there are many routes that have been up since December '21. We appreciate that there are a lot of routes across a number of facilities, but having a route up for more than 3 months is way too long - having some up for almost half a year is ridiculous.

I love going to TRC to get my climbing and yoga fix. The instructors are all so friendly and supportive and the climbing community in general is a great one. Everyone is friendly no matter what your climbing level. I have to mention Laura's yoga classes and Kyle's training classes are the best!

Great place and awesome staff! Lots of bouldering and lead/top rope.Only thing of note is that I’ve found the grades for bouldering are harder compared to other gyms. I normally boulder in Boston, but when I come back to NC and go to TRC, I’m usually a grade below what I would normally do in Boston.

I’ve been climbing around the country, and had the fun opportunity of being part of the awesome climbing community for years. With that being said- I’m bummed to be writing this review. I went a few weeks ago on a hot summer day wearing comfy climbing vibe clothes- big shorts and a sports bra. Halfway through my climb I was told to cover up as my sports bra was in appropriate. I found this disgusting and not the welcoming climber scene I’m used to. It’s 2022, my sports bra is the least of concerns. Climb on, my dudes. Cheers to better vibes!
