Personally my favorite TRC in the triangle. They have many different options for top rope/lead climbing (short, medium, tall, and very tall walls) as well as 2 extensive bouldering areas. Their gym space is large enough at times but can get cramped quickly. The one downside is parking which is always difficult. They do try to get around it with carpool raffles but there simply isn’t enough space. I have faith that they will fix this issue somehow in the future!

Great gym, good people and decent prices. Green armband if you are looking for people to climb with is such a great idea! Lots of lead climbing and huge walls as well as bouldering and plenty of kids areas.

I've rock climbed in a few places in the US, Raleigh, San Jose, Los Angeles, San Diego, and I think this is one of the best gyms. The staff is friendly and definitely give off that NC vibe, very chill. The people who climb are also very open and friendly (and not weird lol), and it's easy to have fun and be social here. Members get guest passes (1 a month or more on special months), which makes the experience better if you can get friends to climb without a membership.

Super kid friendly space and all the ropes are stripped down to be 6ft apart - I really trust the way they've reopened and can't wait to come again

I really like this wall. The staff is great and the top roping is really great routes that are routinely updated. They do have a couple of issues though. Parking is frequently terrible, especially on weeknights. There isn't much they can do about parking, although i wish they would have figured out how to expand it more when they built the expansion. The biggest thing for me is the air quality though. I have very mild asthma, and literally the only place I've ever had an asthma attack in the past decade has been at this location (North Raleigh and Durham locations haven't). I have had multiple times that i have had issues breathing at this gym, including last night when I could literally taste the "chalk" in the air. I have noticed that it is worst when the outside weather is between 50 and 75 degrees. If you have asthma, go to a different location. The air is much better at the other locations.Pros:Routes, equipment, 50 ft walls, staffCons:Parking, Air Quality

Very nice and unique experience. Fun way to get a decent workout. A bit pricey, but oftentimes they offer discounts and special offers, in which case it can be a good value. Will visit again!

I’ve been going to the rock club every once in awhile for most my life. I’ve always loved the staff and the routes and the new area is great! They could use more auto belays though. If I don’t come with someone else than I leave pretty fast because I ran out of climbing options.

A great place to get some indoor climbing in. People are friendly and open, and they have quite the selection of climbing areas.Only downside is that the gym is often full of young campers during the afternoon, and it can get extremely crowded, and this creates serious safety issues.

Awesome gym! Rock Climbing itself is an awesome sport, but the folks at TRC take it to the next level. They have a great range of climbs for all abilities - the fitness classes and typical gym equipment in addition to the climbing wall give it a full gym experience.

This is a great place to have a kid’s birthday party! It’s reasonably priced and the staff were amazing. The couple that led the party were very encouraging, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. We didn’t have any previous climbing experience and had a great time. Highly recommended!
