It's pretty clear that there are renovations going on. , shame that this rating is also based on the clientele - nobody seems to care about showering before using the sauna/ stream room; it would be nice if there was some way to enforce that so the sauna doesn't smell like people's dirty laundry.

I signed up for a membership right before COVID. I think I went a few times in the first month. The gym is a fine facility, but their agreement terms are not friendly and designed to milk you for more money than you expect. Be careful.First, during COVID in 4/2020, they charged a new member fee even though gyms were closed. Then in 4/2021, they charged a rate lock fee.The last straw though is when I went to cancel, they charged me for another month. I had to pay them to cancel my account! The first two fees I can maybe understand in normal, non-covid times, but paying to cancel? That's ridiculous.Take your business elsewhere.

Overall super disappointed from the moment I walked in. The staff was extremely rude and unapproachable, even after I mentioned it was my first time there the guy had no intention on helping me at all. It felt like pulling teeth to find the locker room or any guidance whatsoever. The locker room was disgusting and worn down. Shortest workout of my life as I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

It's always the same thing with this gym chain. They make rules and enforce them arbitrarily. This whole sumer these kids come as if it was summer camp horse around the place as if it was a playground, and they are clearly under age according to vasa policy, and they are unaccompanied bulyt a guardian. It's is unsafe and and very frustrating. When people go to the is to feel better then how they came in, not angry

Somehow the nicest Vasa I've been to so far, but still has filthy and broken cardio equipment. The first six treadmills in the first row are broken or malfunctioning, and there is trash/used wipes everywhere. The equipment doesn't look like it ever gets cleaned by staff. As someone who works at a gym, and works really hard to make the experience a good one for the members, I'm constantly disappointed and appalled at how little Vasa employees and managers care.

I loved the gym but after moving there wasn’t one near us to continue the membership. They charged me over $95.00 to cancel even though I hadn’t used the membership in over 6 months and wouldn’t refund the annual charge because it’s “not a usage based membership”.

Great gym. Good equipment, staff is helpful when needed. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is it is too busy on weekday evenings.

I signed up for a monthly membership at $17.99. The second month I was charged $68.00. I called the gym to inquire about the extra charge and was told that it was an annual fee. I told the employee I wasn’t aware of an annual fee and was told that I “ literally clicked on it when I signed up”. Very nice. Now I go to cancel my membership and find that I’m being charged an extra $42.00 as a cancellation fee? I’ve now been charged $128.00 for going to the gym one time…

There are multiple reports on a man who has continuously harassed and followed young girls at this gym and they haven’t kicked him out. When I went in to talk to the staff they said the can’t do anything without corporate approval. These poor girls deserve more protection than that.
