Love this Gym! It has everything you need and they usually do a great job to get the equipment up and running fairly quick when they go down. 4 stars cause they need a bigger Olympic lifting area. 4 stations is not enough.

I got the highest level membership here, including a personal trainer services. After one month I had to go back home to Russia and froze my account. I came back a month later and two days after return came down with very severe COVID symptoms. I was in bed for over a month, unable to make or receive any phone calls. During that time this Vasa location unfroze my membership and later sent my account to collections without even talking to me first.When I got back on my feet and tried calling Vasa to resolve, they sent me straight to collections agency and refused to help. I feel like the managers at this location don’t care about your experience and the Vasa name.Stay away from Vasa fitness and save your nerves and health! This place caused more damage than help to my health…

I would give zero or negative rating to them. The way they are operating their business is not ethical. They highlighted cancellation is 25 $ and in the past I just used the Gym for 1 day within two months of membership so I decided to to cancel my membership and at the time of cancellation they charged Annual fees, 1 month extra charge and cancellation fess. I will never recommend anyone or go back to them

VASA is ok, used to be a 24 Hr. Fitness member and loved it but there's very few locations now and their schedule didn't work for me anymore. At this location, several treadmills don't work and their main water dispenser has had the red light indicator on for at least three weeks now, come on management team change the filter already!. I don't really have a better option so I'm pretty much stuck but I would go somewhere else if I had the chance.***About a week has passed since I posted my original review and I just want to say: I'm impressed with VASA! As of today all treadmills are working and the water fountain filter has been replaced. Thank you!

Pay with cash only. Do not give them access to your account. If you move or try to cancel they will continue to run your card indefinitely. It's baked into their business model. I asked their main office on the phone and they confirmed they would keep charging decades later, even if you never stepped a foot into the building. "We are subscription based, not usage based". Yet when you cancel, they keep charging.Also, my wife's and my contract says $50/year annual fee. But they have charged $60 each, this year and last.The "owner" is about to have one his employees paste this response to my review, like they do to all 1 star reviews: ""Hi! We are so sad to hear that you haven't had a good experience with us." Are you?"We have found your account in our system, and will have someone from our Member Services Team reach out to you ASAP" I've already talked to the Member Services Team and they won't refund a dime or cease to charge me after canceling.Bank said they would block them but also said they could keep charging via another processor. The only thing I can do is close my long-established bank account. Absolute monsters.

Since my gated community gym has been closed for months, I finally made my way into Vasa after trying a number of alternatives. Jared made my day by walking me through the best guest pass options. Low-key membership discussion was a no brainer. Group fitness is my favorite and there are a vast array of classes daily. I'm also doing personal training with Rosie and she is terrific. Great way to fire up fitness very quickly surrounded by friendly staff. Gym hours are extensive, too. Very pleased!

I’ve been a member here since this VASA location has opened. Like many other gyms, it was beautiful and clean when they first opened. Now about 3 years later, you can tell the standard for cleanliness has greatly declined and the overall maintenance of equipment has also taken a downward turn. I understand it’s a challenge to be fully staffed at this time, but this shouldn’t be an excuse for the upkeep of the facility. I’m still an active member and continue to use the facility, I just wish the upkeep was prioritized.

The gym itself is great, but if you have to cancel your membership they will overcharge you. Everything says $25 cancellation fee, but they also charge you 1 months membership and a "rate guarantee fee" (which by itself is $50). I really had to pay 100 dollars to cancel my 20 dollar a month membership.

The negative reviews are from people who don’t work out enough to know how a gym functions. It’s a gym. You’re not supposed to be able to eat off the floor, occasionally things break and they need to temporarily tape a mat down, you can negotiate a good deal (that’s on you if you don’t), and people need to finish their set prior to relinquishing equipment. Vasa isn’t perfect, it’s reasonably priced, it’s clean, the people are friendly, and the equipment is good and generally available. Stop knocking businesses with your uninformed perception of what good looks like.

Great gym for the first couple visits, I have been with vasa for over a year now. Ended up canceling my membership because I was off to college. Signed back up a couple days ago and I was reminded of all the fees you have to pay… fees to freeze accounts, fees to cancel memberships, annual fees, and the list goes on. Always so many people because the hours are not great especially on weekends. Used to be open till 12am and it was awesome used to be my favorite part of the day going to the gym at 9pm or 10pm. Now there closed during those hours, and on Saturday they close at 8! That’s crazy and Sunday 6? It kinda ridiculous. I would love this gym much more if they cleaned their equipment and extended their hours back to what they were. Used to bring friends but now hours suck so back to the basic membership🙄
