It's a clean facility. People are friendly and I dont have problems.I gave it 4 stars because they go through personal trainers so fast everytime I want to go in for a session their either looking for someone or the person they hired just left.Other than that everything is very nice. The staff are friendly, the machines are clean and the set up of the gym is aesthetically pleasing.

I am from out of state and this was the closest to our area (they seem to be very spread out in Cali.) So upon entering I was not impressed with the location, the friendliness of the staff or the conditions of the bathroom. I use mostly only the showers...the one I happened to get into had a used panty liner and the biggest clump of hair in the corner...I was afraid on the conditions of the other showers there.I was not impressed because the gym itself (it looks like a new location) looked good until you saw the garbage on the ground outside and the stuff listed above.I think all Cali locations need improvement!

Most employees exude great customer service skills, and are very polite. Some workers have biases when it come to customer service and friendliness. Some employees profile certain individuals in the locker rooms. If you do not speak Spanish, some gym members will stop speaking English, and start speaking Spanish, when certain individuals are around. Some gym members go as far as retrieving their purses from their lockers, if non Mexican people are in the locker room. The bathrooms are not kept clean alot of times during the day. Here are photos from yesterday. One gym member saw the bathrooms, said, "How unsanitary", and decided not to use them. Just as I was writing this review, it happened again, three Mexican patrons, entered the locker room speaking English, saw me, started speaking Spanish, and left the locker room without locking up their purses. Personally, I feel that people who exude biases, get some form of karma somewhere in life, that will match their behavior. Although Planet Fitness quickly took care of their bathroom situation, it's Sunday September 30TH. I received sub par service from the two workers currently working. It's about 7:45 PM. The guy apologized. The girl Vivianna was argumentative with me when my massage lounger only went for five minutes. She said her screen says it's still going. I told her but it's not, would you like to go over to the chair. She said that didn't matter, I can't use anything until her screen says my time has stopped. I left the desk, when I returned she asked if I needed help. I told her not from her because she didn't help me the first time. So my lounge chair was not so relaxing. Those two are the worst workers I've experienced here so far. Update, December 2018, Some rude biased staff members, good morning sir welcome, mean while, I did not get a have a nice day, more than once. Some showers are flooding. Some patrons are nasty, and leave hair in the shower, trash on counters, and residue from various items they've brought in. Not talking about the homeless clients, this is being done by so called pretty women. Ending my membership in 2019.

It used to be a good place but the front desk guy at night doesn’t care who goes in there and therefore alot of homeless people go in and sleep in the locker room and poop in the shower, and it seems like nobody cleans the locker room or the bathroom area because the same toilet paper will be on the ground for days. Seriously considering switching to 24 hour fitness because of these issues.

I come to this gym every other day early in the morning and there is either no one at the front desk or there's the same bad customer service girl waiting to only scan your card but not really say anything. I have also noticed that people seem to already know the routine if arriving and no one is at the front desk they just scan the card themselves and let themselves in. All of the staff that I have came across early in the morning (4/5am) never say hi and always just look away. This gym is the closest to my home but I still choose to drive a little further to another gym that has a lot better customer service.

Cool gym except the hot water heater in the showers are always going out. Ive been going go this gym for 8 months and its happened like 6 times. Not good at all

For only $10 dollars a month you get poor customer service from Chula Vista most untrained staff thanks to the manager that can't do her job because she's can't stop playing with her hair all burnt and crispy i mean seriously come on havent …

ChulaVista,CA location has a nice amount of space and it's clean.It's true that it's located near a shelter, I noticed a previous review stating unrest at the idea of someone rinsing "clothes" in the sink/shower (harmless). Someone's paying for that membership, "no judgement zone". end rant.The women's locker room: 3 opaque shower door showers 1 curtained handicap, 3 private changing rooms with full length mirrors, a chair also theres a set of hooks for hanging items. 3 toilet stalls, 1handicap stall. Separate sink and counter area, Outlets on both ends of the make up/hair counter across from 3 sinks under 3 large oval mirrors that are well lit. The lockers come equipped with dial locks installed on locker door fronts, no need, or place, for a seperate lock. There is a weight scale. (no hand held blow dryers, there are forced air hand dryers)Main gym has filtered water station. The equipment is well organized, and they have 2 Row Machines!!

My first experience as a guest with my wife. Very clean. Patrons are upbeat. Staff is courteous. I may consider my own black card membership.

Its clean and the only downside is that there is no free bar only assisted machines. Still worth coming to these gyms everything else is great. Membership is probably the lowest of all gyms at only 10$ a month.
