Switched from PF, excited for the punching bags & classes. The gym is too crowded all the time. You have to wait to use everything (punching bags, tanning beds, etc.). The bathrooms are always gross & never have toilet paper. So far it has been an overwhelming, anxiety ridden experience. I used to love to workout. Now I feel anxious thinking about setting foot in this place & have to talk myself into getting out of the car.

I am a new member and highly dissatisfied. I called as soon as I noticed that my account was double charged for a membership 2 months in a row. I’ve called multiple times and left my contact information, although they have it on file, no answer, no call back, no apologies, no nothing. I am soooo frustrated with Crunch. I do not feel like a member at all. The girl who answered the phone verified I was double charged and that she would try to help, yes! someone who could help me. I was at work when I called so I asked her could they return my phone call if I left my number , she stated yes. because the MOD was on a conference call. I agreed and had faith in the person I spoke with that someone would contact me to refund me the money that was taken out of rmy account twice. This hasn’t been a very good experience at all. I’m beyond frustrated. Hopefully someone will call back asap.Update: I had to leave work to go to Crunch to speak with someone. The young lady was extremely professional, nice and understanding. However she did state that my card was on file for ANOTHER one of their members.. we signed up the same day and I guess the third party they use for their memberships linked my card to his account and my account. I didn’t know this man, I came alone and signed up alone. I told the young lady helping me I’m too stingy to give my money out freely. I explained my frustration asked for a refund for being overcharged twice. I did receive one refund but not the other. I really miss this gym but I REFUSE. My personal information was NOT protected at all. A few weeks later my card was hacked. I don’t give out my card info nor do I use any ATM or store. I use cash for purchases because I’ve been hacked before and want to prevent it again but that didn’t happen! The third party they use sucks, the entire situation sucks, and your personal information isn’t secured as you THINK it is.

I have one word for this gym— DIRTY! The bathrooms are disgusting. There is always hair in the sinks, and paper and water all over the floor. You can see the layer of dirt all over the floor. The gym itself is just as bad. Either there’s no paper towels or they’re jammed and can’t get any out. The layer of dust and dirt by the squat racks is disgusting. And the gym members make it worse. Weights are never put away and chalk is still used even though there’s signs saying not to. Seats on benches are torn. How about having employees post less on social media and focus on cleaning the gym instead?

Love this gym and the employees here. The only downfall is the classes are during the hot times in the gym which really makes it hard to workout and it can get crowded but other than that it is a great place to go.

You have to keep the membership for 60 days to cancel. So, pay the first month, second month, and service fee. For me a total of $110. They are a franchise, so that makes them even harder to deal with. I can't cancel for another month. Now, I went in there one day to cancel and was asked why I was cancelling. I said it is because I moved and am trying to go to a gym closer to me, and the girl that was working there said are you sure it's not because you just don't want to work out? I'm on the heavier side, so it was an obvious stab by their petite employee. This question 100% would not have been asked to practically any other person than a heavy one. And it should have never been asked. She said it in front of two other patrons signing up as well.Everyone going to the gym isn't going to be fit when they start or need to cancel their membership, and.. oh, people move and have busy lives. Just an fyi.Why did I want to cancel? This location is inconvenient for me now compared to a few other places. I work 7 days a week and don't feel like driving to an area of town I never have anything to do with now. Sometimes you just need the 20 minute round trip, PER workout day, difference removed from your busy schedule. What did I deal with when trying to cancel?Everything you just read.

I thought I'd get judged and such but walking in ii feel accepted with everyone being very nice! Only thing is the pricing of a PT... It's a bit much for me personally. I also love how people encourage each other to keep going or give tips and they don't even know each other!

******Beware******Oh Crunch and the many stipulations to cancel...#1 must be in person at home gym, #2 must have a Mgr on duty which is 9a-5p, #3 can only occur after your annual fee, & #4 you have to pay for an addt'l30 days. (If any of these statements are false, then staff relayed inaccurate insight). I really find these stipulations ironic being that you can join online at any time.Made the mistake of rejoining Crunch for a 2nd time b/c I really LOVE the classes, however, due to the significant changes of the classes I enjoy, I won't be able to attend them. Will join PF where there are many more locations to be consistent as a frequent travel, just no classes. If I could give a negative score, I would.Update 12/28: Spoke to Mr. Jeremy, Chief Operating Officer & he apologized for the inconvenience and inaccurate information that I was provided by staff. He did the right thing & gave me my monthly pymt back b/c the staff should've not billed me another 30 days when I canceled prior to billing. None of today would've been possible if I didn't advocate for myself. I'm glad to know that Mr. Jeremy cared enough about the brand and doing the right thing. I very much respect him for that.

I am not currently a member of Crunch and live on the other side of town. But I did come with a couple friends and my arms are still a little sore. I liked the equipment and how spaced out everything seemed. You had plenty of space to walk around without everything feeling cluttered. Plus everyone there appeared to be in pretty good shape with the mindset on gains. I ventured around with my buddies and they showed me the BMI room (Im sure it has another name) where you could get a rotating scan sent to your email to help track your progress.

Wow! What an amazing facility. Everything you could want in a gym and more. New equipment, tons of space and really clean. Staff is also very helpful and friendly. This is by far the best gym in town.

5 ✨ because their staff is the cherry on top. Overall, a great experience for the price and I look forward to going. It does get really busy when most people get off work - but if you can catch a time when nobody is there - prime Pickens. My favorites are the sauna, free weights, classes and tanning. If you’re in a rush - they have protein drinks for purchase at the front.
