Crunch Fitness - Columbia

Didn't realize this brand was national, just thought it was an LA thing. Went to the location at the suggestion of a close personal friend who went there to get a day pass. Loved how the carpet felt on my bare feet

This is the spot for you if you are already a gym shark. Very clean,the locker rooms are clean and the sauna room is great! The equipment is great and there is a variety of equipment to use as well. The only down fall….if you are new to working out,you may feel a bit out of place because the gym sharks stay for hours on the equipment you may need but,they are friendly and don’t bang the weights. The staff is nice and located in the heart of Harbison. Another downfall….it’s not 24 hours for people that don’t workout the traditional hours of 9-5 and can get to the gym early. Happy go gym hunting!!

I’ve been going here for over two years now and I love this gym! The staff is super friendly and helpful and the bathrooms get cleaned by a super awesome lady. There’s definitely a good community amongst the members at Crunch. Also, there’s a good variety of equipment.

This gym has really disappointed me. I was expecting better customer service for a problem that wasn't even my fault but the representative Kaitlyn. Management acknowledged she made a mistake, said they would make it right yet didn't. I will not be referring my friends. They have a lot of immenties but I am a champion for customer service so I will be scouting another facility as soon as my year is up.

Do not EVER go to this crunch fitness. My girlfriend asked for the base plan which is $15 and when she was signing up the guy that entered it into the computer put it for the premium membership for $41. When she signed up the guy that signed her up told her all the base membership information. She didn’t get to see the contract (the guy that signed her up no longer is there because what Adam said “he has done this before with no explaining contracts and we let him go” They have charged her for this month and next month already. The manager named Adam is absolutely no help she wants out of the contract because she can’t afford the $41 every month.. it is not right

I really love Crunch Fitness! The staff is amazing especially Adam the manager. He is so friendly and is always making the place look so nice and organized. Just have to give this place a 5 stars! The daycare is awesome and the ladies that work there seriously are amazing. They treat my babies like their own. Won’t go anywhere else!

After reading some of these negative reviews it is hard to believe so many people don’t know how Gym Memberships work. There is no way that $15 was offered as a month to month price. Most places don’t go below $40 for that option. Also, it does take a legit reason to get out of a two year contract and if you cannot provide that then you’d still be locked in. I’ve always believed that the paid in full option is the best way to go bc your member definitely ends when the time runs out. That may not be an option for everyone but it’s about $18 a month if you go that route.If I’m wasting time reading reviews on here then I’d prefer to hear about what the gym has to offer anyways. Adam is very helpful when it comes to training and gym knowledge. Which would hopefully be the main reason someone is harassing him at work anyways. Unfortunately, things like this happen often but it’s usually not the gym’s fault, it’s on us. Good luck to everyone that is, “ On a fitness journey”!!!

The promotions are a ploy to gain membership quotas but they lack customer service etiquette. Take them weeks to respond to messages. Me, family & a couple of friends haven't been there 2 months and are already frustrated. Mr. Bill Robinson need to check in on his Harbison facility! Ryan is very nonchalant and lack customer service skills! They need to have staff that are capable of handling basic concerns when appointments are made! I had 2 people interested and so did my son, but now I guess I understand why they are not popular! We have made all payments including the annual fees, but trying to figure out now how we can get out of the contracts! They are lying about Crunch cash! Don't do it! Try another gym. These folk have no ethics.

I am not having fun anymore so no CRUNCH does not make fitness fun. 2 months in and I am ready to cancel. I thoroughly enjoyed the ZUMBA but there is a lack of professional courtesy with customer service. I have been waiting alongside 3 of my family members for resolution to promotional credits, and fee discrepancies. The courtesy clerks are not in position to assist and that's an area that need to be improved. We have been charged fees that were not explained in the $1 enrollment promotion. It's obvious that's a ploy to get memberships. I will be going back to Planet Fitness and my son YMCA if things don't get better. Still awaiting resolution.
