I decided to give crunch fitness a chance and went to sign up.They have a big banner outside that says $1 to join in, and the first month is Free.I went inside, and the lady asked me to pay $50 to join in and said the banner is wrong, and they should have taken it off 2 weeks ago because this promotion ended up on the 15th.The lady wasn't that pleasant either, and I don't like to give bad reviews for business because I know we need to support each other, but this was a false advertisement

This gym is nothing but a scam. They trap you into a membership that is almost impossible to get out of. I signed for a 2 year plan but after those 2 years they continue to take your money. I was told the only way to cancel my membership was to write them a letter explaining why I would like to cancel, like as if I would be denied being able to cancel if my reason wasn’t good enough. I asked if an email would be fine but apparently its not and they require a written letter. What business in todays world only allows written letters to cancel a membership? Sounds like a good way to trap someone in a membership. I was told after I mail them my letter I could take about 30 days to cancel my membership which sounds like they just want to steal another payment from me. I would save yourself the headache and just lift rocks instead of joining this pathetic place.

Adam Brittany and Barbara have been so wonderful. I am someone who had a membership before and didn't attend often so I was nervous about commiting again. They took the time to show me everything about the gym and even set me up a one on one workout/body scan/goal setting appointment that I will attend to show me how to use their machines and get me started. So far so good! I would recommend this gym. I get group classes and the traditional gym environment for basically the same price as just the gym environment at planet fitness.

They’ve been scamming me out of my money for years. If you sign up with them, be prepared for it to take an act of god to get you out of paying them.

I've worked in gyms before. This gym is top notch with a great pricepoint with so many amenities. When people complain about it not canceling its because they don't follow the simple cancellation process. Just like your cable bill, cell phone, etc... you have to actually cancel in writing people. Same type of people complained when I worked at MUV Fitness...people that can't follow cancellation directions. I joined this gym on Harbison and I LOVE it! It has a ton of equipment, classes and even childcare for a fraction of what other gyms cost. The Zumba and yoga classes are so good. When I move, I'll send a note to cancel it like I'm supposed to. Haters are the ones that can't follow basic instructions and then complain to try to get something for free.

The equipment is top-notch, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. However, there was one aspect that I wasn't thrilled about - the limited hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For many people, the gym is a crucial part of their daily routine and helps them maintain their physical and mental health. Having a gym that is conveniently open during the weekend is especially important, as it can often be the only time they have to fit in a workout.Unfortunately, this gym's hours on the weekend didn't align with my schedule, which made it difficult for me to utilize the facility. I understand that the gym needs to have closed times for maintenance and staffing purposes, but for some people, a gym is much more than just a place to work out. It's a place to clear their minds, challenge themselves, and improve their overall wellbeing. In conclusion, while I enjoyed everything about this gym except for its limited weekend hours, I understand that not everyone's schedule will always align with the gym's hours of operation. However, for those for whom the gym is a crucial aspect of their routine, these limited hours can be a significant drawback.

I signed up with this company in December of 2022. I signed up with the normal package and the personal trainer as I don’t know how to work out. I paid 600 for my mom and I to meet with a personal trainer 3 times a week for a month. We were no called no showed for two weeks. I finally got tired of it because this company was basically wasting my time while gaining money from it. I put a request in to cancel at that point as I had already had two different trainers (who both no called no showed). Instead of addressing my cancellation request the day after I put it in, they tried to simply disregard the request and give us a different trainer. I declined and informed them I put a request in to cancel due to my issues thus far with them. I was then directed to the wife of the owner for this stores location who has REFUSED to cancel my services and give me a refund for services I NEVER received claiming she couldn’t because the company tried to fix the issue. They didn’t try to do anything until AFTER I put my request in. I have been going back and forth with this lady for approximately a month now trying to cancel everything. Originally I only wanted to cancel the personal trainer, but due to how poorly my mom and I have been treated for everything I have now requested to cancel EVERYTHING. If anyone made it this far and is thinking of signing up here DONT! They don’t care about their customers, they only care about the money.

Never go to this gym, Crunch fitness is a very terrible company this one in harbison enspecially. I was illegally tricked into a “contract” that I didn’t even know was a contract nor did I get to read over it, when trying to get it fixed I learned that the greasy manager Adam is a liar and a fraud and needs to be fired immediately. And also the employee singing me up was terrible but I belive it’s just Adam telling these employees how to scam.Never go to this gym ever awful.

Good gym, but there's always a dude thinking he owns the gym in the morning. Always thinks he owns the gym by taking over many benches, racks and machines and will walk away for 20 min and only come back when you try to hope on and claim he's on it .
