Thank God for Crunch Fitness opening back up! Everything is exceptionally clean and I felt completely safe working out. I also feel relieved to get my pent up stress out from being quarantined! I noticed the staff continued to wipe everything down, constantly. I appreciate both the friendly staff and other members social distancing yet I felt comfortable to be able to work out and feel as normal as possible in these crazy times! I’m back to feeling better about myself and they helped me set new goals! I’m back on track!!

The overall gym layout and current condition of the equipment is pretty good. There were a few instances of equipment being broken down for multiple weeks, which is concerning. Also, the sauna/steam room/men's bathroom had multiple issues and were closed for multiple weeks. The main reason for the low rating is the customer service of their staff. I had a billing issue on my account when my bank sent a new debit card that I wasn't aware of for a few weeks. Their billing company called me multiple times, and I answered the calls the first few times. Every time on the phone, the person said to get anywhere I needed to go to the actual gym. I have been in and out of town for work over the last year and a half and the gym is pretty far from my home. I also recently have had my 5 year old niece almost full time. Her daycare is in West Columbia which is the opposite direction of the gym. I was finally able to get into the gym today and when I was remedying the card issue, I had an attitude, there is no doubt. In response, the gym admin, I believe his name is Justin, instead of being of good customer service and resolving the issue peacefully, told me to lose the attitude and then threatened to waive any fees and to send the account to collections over $30 worth of gym fees. There is no excuse for this type of behavior from someone who is dependent on customers coming into the gym to make that franchise location successful. I cancelled my membership immediately and left, even though I was going to try and get a workout in with the hour I had to spare for the day. I was not in the right by any means and I accept that, but the response from that employee of the gym was not the way to handle it.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A TRAINER HERE!!Honestly the gym itself is nice and the $10 month is nice as well. However do not sign up for any training programs here. The session are way to short, the make promises that they cant keep and you are better off just coming with your own routine. For the short time i was there, they must have switched my trainer 3 times in 2 months. They say you will be provided with folders so that you can simply just come in and do your workout!! LIES. Each workout is 30 minutes and sometimes the trainer would have so many clients scheduled that day that they couldn't even stay the entire workout and would walk off while you are doing your last set. I gave them 3 chances to get my trainer right and they failed every time. When i decided that i was no longer going to deal with them and tried to cancel the training workout they told me there was no way to do it, even though i had already paid for full membership. So of course this story ends with me still getting charged every month even though i haven't been back in months and will eventually hit my credit report! I can understand if i didn't full fill my part and had stop paying for no reason but the fact that they cant even own up to their own mistake and obviously care more about the money then the customer service is why i will never do business with them again.

Crunch Fitness is a very clean, friendly gym. The staff is great - friendly, helpful, and encouraging. Make sure to meet with Shiloh (fitness manager) to talk about your goals and get started on a plan to achieve them - she is fantastic! The gym has nice, clean, working equipment, and there's great variety. I love that there are no contracts to get locked into, and you can select the level of membership to meet your fitness needs and budget.

This gym it's got great new equipment, the staff that takes care of my kids is very attentive and very polite. I've been working out here for the past two months and so far it's been great. The gym is always clean. They also are not too expensive like other gyms.
