Came to this location with a 5 day pass on 12/23/2022 at 8am. I found a very rude lady who doesn’t know customer service at all. I have a 5 day pass which is already activated according to fitness connection customer service. Yet, the lady in front desk said that she can’t let me in. In fact, only the manager can help and it has to be at 10am. Or if I want to pay for a membership!!!

My dad and I canceled our memberships last year because of the repeated thefts, and the gym wouldn't do anything about it. I know few people who were victims as well, and nothing seems to have changed apparently.I follow a guy who used to do flips and tricks on the pullup bar at this location. I met him today, and he told me he canceled his membership because of how unprofessional and a lying person a manager called Mike was.When his jacket got stolen on the gym foor while working out, the manager made him go get a police report for the camera footage. When he brought the report, gave the manager his phone number alongside a description of the jacket, this latter kept telling him made up stuff such as "we'll contact you next week". When comes next week, the manager would once again ask for his phone number that he had already been given to a week prior, and would say "I'll talk to such and such person, and we'll get back to you next week". When comes that week, you guessed it, full circle again.We had similar experience, but never escalated it since the items weren't that valuable. But, the gym not wanting to help in any way strongly suggests that they MUST somehow be involved with the thieves.

The mens restrooms, showers and sauna are filthy! I’ve had my membership for almost a year and not once have these areas been pressured washed or properly cleaned. Showers have stains all over the walls and it’s not unusual for you to see bugs in the showers. Also, to be honest a lot of the gym goers have no “Gym etiquette” and the staff do not really help maintain the gym organized by at least racking the weights and setting up an example for gym goers to follow. I’ve address my concern by calling FC HQ, emailed both HQ’s and also the gym manager, have spoken personally with the front desk about these issues and yet nothing has been done. Thinking about canceling my membership and driving a bit further to LA Fitness…Will post photos on another day.

This place is way too busy!!!This is the closest Fitness Connection to my home and I now go to the one in Grand Prairie because its the tiniest bit less busy. It's ridiculous.A staff member told me not to kick on the punching bag which is irritating because I pay for the amenities here. No one else is getting bothered by staff because they are using the equipment in an "unconventional" manner.I hate fitness connection fr. They have made no effort to make my experience any better when I've had issues and it's frustrating because I obviously don't matter as a patron. If there was a gym that was even $20 more a month and had the same amenities and was less busy, I would pay that so quickly. For the price, it's fine but being here is terrible on the weekdays. The weekends its much better but I'm tired of this gym.Also to cancel, you have to send in snail mail to get your membership cancelled which is ridiculous as well.

The facility is a nice and spacious facility BUT I do not like the cleanliness of the gym. You spend a great deal of time searching for weights and other gym equipment that’s not “nailed down.” I’ve advised management on a few different occasions but the issue is still the same. I understand that the gym members aren’t doing their part by re-racking the weights but their is zero efforts on the staff’s part to pick the weights up. I’ve literally seen a dumbbell in the same place it was the day before my next day at the gym. This facility is nice but the only issue I have is a major issue when you have to waste time during your workout to search for equipment. I’ve utilized several Fitness Connection facilities across the DFW and Collin County areas and this particular facility is the only one that has this problem.

I actually love it here , BUT THE HOURS it closes at 10 pm most people are night people, so is it any way y’all could close @12 and y’all most likely get more people to get a membership

Best gym in the area. I used to go to la fitness. Bc I just moved from from California. Fitness connection is way better then any other gym I’ve seen here. Maybe if they one more heavy bag of a little better quality it would be golden.

They keep overcharging me for months I called to speak with management and was told I would get a call back I have emailed…. spoke with the regional manager and he told me he would fix the issue…..Called a few weeks later and was advised he was no longer with them they have been giving me the run arounds for months called the 800 number and was advised management at the club had to handle. I was a repeat member I used to love this gym but don’t play with my money never again will I ever go back to fitness connection. BEWARE.

I signed up for the 5 day pass to come try out the gym. I showed up at 8:30 to workout, and they told me they don’t accept passes after 8 PM. This is not listed on their website or emails or anything, and she held firm and wouldn’t let me try the gym out because that’s their “policy” that isn’t communicated anywhere. Just stupid..
