It’s as challenging as you make it. I wouldn’t be able to consistently work out at this level on my own.

My first class was great with Madison. I’ve been working out for about 6 years on and off and mostly lifting weights but the class at orange theory was very different. An hour of intense exercises. I burned out calories that I could not believe if I didn’t see it on the board. I’ve signed up as a member but still keeping my membership at the other gym for days that I need to work out late at night or just weight lifting days. Orange theory is a 10 for me and hopefully it stays that way!!!

I am trying orange theory as an alternative to CrossFit. The classes are good and the people are nice; however, I have been sick with a respiratory issue. I cancelled a class instead of spreading my illness to the other members. What was my reward for being an ADULT???? They charged me $12 to cancel! The cost of the gym is on the high side to begin with it’s much much more expensive than CrossFit and you have to buy $130 heart monitor on top of the $180 a month. This is not a good value when you punish a member for being a responsible adult! I get they are trying to run a business but it seems ORANGE THEORY IS MORE OF A CASH GRAB THAN A FITNESS STUDIO! I will not be staying a member! 100% unacceptable! Why would you punish your members who are being respectful of other members? This is just a bad business model! Charge a really high fee for membership make you buy additional equipment to be able to use the facility and then punish your member for being a responsible adult…THIS IS NOT HOW YOU GROW A BUSINESS! THIS IS HOW YOU GAIN A REPUTATION FOR BEING A BAD BUSINESS. When I spoke with Orange Fitness Addison they agreed to wave the cancelation fee as I was I’ll; however, they still charged my card on file! THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE FRANCHISEE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ORANGE FITNESS ADDISON.

Diana, Zach, Mallory, and Matt make this place feel like a workout home. The workouts will absolutely push you to the brink, but if you give it time your body will thank you. After a year or so of four workouts per week, my cardiac recovery is finely tuned and I can chest press with the 30’s. Thanks y’all!
