Clean and the people are always very friendly including the staff. I never feel judged. I can come in here at anytime and get a great workout. Alot of different machines and workout equipment an all around great gym.

I had a great first time at Planet Fitness. The guy at the front desk was very nice and made the whole experience comfortable. The place was very clean and easy to maneuver. Ill be back!

Was told last week that I was not allowed to do jump rope inside the gym. The manager sent me outside to do that in such a cold day. Considered the money I paid for, that’s fine. When having more money and moving to loop 288, I’m gonna have a membership at LA gym.In addition to that, everything is okay for me.

This location is awesome. Very friendly staff and the no judgment zone is in full effect. To me this is in the heart of Denton so it's easy to get to. It's open 24 hours so you can go anytime. And you get free pizza and bagels once a month! They recently received all new cardio equipment. See you there working out!

They're awful and make it impossible to cancel. I called months ago and told them to cancel my membership because I'm not in the area anymore and they told me I had to cancel by mail, which I found to be ridiculous. I finally sent my letter early May and was just charged an annual fee. Why can't cancelling a $10 gym membership be simpler? You can find better service at the dmv

I have been working out in "gyms" since I was in my early 20's - so I have seen it all. I was impressed with the staff, cleanliness, equipment and amenities at Planet Fitness and would recommend it to all my family and friends. You can't beat the price. There truly is a "no judgment" vibe which is important for all sizes and walks of life!!!

I have been to several gyms and Planet Fitness in Denton on university is my favorite. Very friendly staff! I would give them 5 stars but I think they need to give the tanning beds more attention then they do. Not sure how often they are cleaned by staff but they might want to consider doing it more often.

Yesterday was my first day here and it was everything I had hoped to be. Nobody judges anyone for anything and there is a great diversity of people of all ages and backgrounds. The staff is always smiling and ready to help with anything, and the equipment is some of the best I've seen.

Wife and I had to move our membership to another gym because we work out together and needed one that offered child care after having our son. After getting a membership elsewhere, I went by to cancel our PF one and was told that I could pay an early termination fee or just let it expire. I opted to let it just run out since it was the same amount either way (and if you're gonna be paying for it, might as well have access to it on the off chance you want to use it, right?). This was in September, membership was set to expire after October. We ended up never going there again though.Come February, I realize that we're still getting billed for our PF membership (I'd been terrible with staying on top of our monthly budget and found it while doing our taxes). I go into the location to try and see what's happening and they explain that the membership keeps renewing until you cancel it. I told them I did already ask to cancel and was not told that I'd have to come back later, even gave them the date I came in and everything. Owner/manager says he believes me, but there's nothing he can do - I'd have to call corporate to resolve it and get a refund. I call corporate from the parking lot, and they say they have to talk to the local manager, who then throws me under bus after just saying he believed me and basically says he has no record of it. So now I'm just a lying customer to them. I was told then that the only option would be to file a report or something with a supervisor and they would call or email me back. I was never called back or followed up with via email though and emailed them several times afterwards with no response. Saddened and frustrated that no one in this company or at this location apparently has the decency to provide good customer service. They're knowingly making money off of you forgetting or not knowing that you are being billed, even when directly called out on it. It doesn't matter what a contract says, it's about doing the right thing, and if I treated a client this way, I'd be out of business.

Planet Fitness makes it easy for people who didn’t have any high school athletics, gym, or sports training like me. All the machines have pictures of the targeted muscle groups and how to safely and properly use the machines. It helped me become more confident in my workouts which has made me want to continue and stick with a routine every week.Some people complain about the size of the gym or the equipment available, but I think it’s perfect for people just starting out. The more comfortable I get, the more I want to use free weights and do kinesthetics, which they have. They may not have the fancy stuff but they have weights for serious gym buffs and machines for beginners.
